Whomp whomp, the train track diner got me this time! We waited an hour plus for the food, and to my surprise, it never came. We were told they had to make a fresh batch of shrimp salad. The recipe must be locked away, because i cant imagine it taking more than 15 mins to cook the shrimp, cool the shrimp, cut celery, and mix in some mayo and old bay in order to make the shrimp salad. I have been here numerous times and usually have a decent experience. This time it was bad! I'll probably give them another chance, but I'm not sure if it will be anytime soon.

I came here with my grandmother as a kid before the renovation, she would come for the card reader, I'd come for the trains outside. The new renovation is nice, just MISSING A TRAIN RUNNING AROUND THE CIELING, or something along those lines. (The owner can feel free to reach out to me to make that happen!!) It took me many years to come back and try this place again. I was probably 5-10 back then, I'm now 28 and frequently come here mainly for the bartender Kayla (amazing service and drink knowledge) and to watch the NASCAR races on Sundays! Os games and NASCAR races usually take over the sound system.
For me and my better half Jess, we keep coming back for Kayla's service. We haven't really experienced the other bartenders enough to honestly judge them, but there have been times we walk in and don't see Kayla and walk right back out the door. We both enjoy the simple food, burgers, GRILLED CHEESE... Zack and Sally throw down in the kitchen!! The pepper jack cheese balls are always a go to, especially on race days - THEY NEED THE CHEDDAR CHEESE BALLS THO!!! Bucket prices during Os, Ravens games and NASCAR races are the same as the happy hour prices. This is already a paragraph, so I'll end it here and update when needed! Come watch a NASCAR race with us on Sunday!

We ordered a buffalo wrap, onion rings, and pretzel bites. All were great but the buffalo wrap was exceptional. Tina provided great service and we asked the cook’s name. Zack: you KILLED it. Thank you both very much!
Kid-friendliness: We didn’t see a kids menu but they have grilled cheese, pretzel bites, pizza, and other child friendly options on their regular menu.

We decided to give this place a second chance. Me and my family have been locals for years! Lansdowne Inn has been through its ups and downs. Ever since they hired a new chef/manager and fired some of their original employees, we decided to stay away from Lansdowne Inn because it went down hill.Well, luckily they got rid of the bad apples and they are now back to the ORIGINAL LANSDOWNE INN with great food and chef (Ms. Sally), great service (Ms. Robin), and good atmosphere!Cheesesteak was excellent, loaded with meat and fries. And wings were even better, crispy and coated with lots of sauce! 10/10I was really worried that it would never be the same again, but I’m glad it’s back to how it was! It deserves a second chance!

I had high hopes for this place after hearing it described as a 'hidden gem,' but unfortunately, my experience fell short. My father and I decided to grab lunch here, but our visit left much to be desired. Upon arrival, we found all the exterior doors propped open despite the chilly 40°F weather. As the only patrons, we were greeted by a waitress who seemed somewhat disinterested. After an awkward exchange, we seated ourselves and were informed that the chef had stepped out momentarily. While the service was friendly and apologetic, the food left much to be desired. The pretzel bites were disappointingly hard and lacking in salt, and the 'special' gyros resembled overcooked bacon rather than the savory dish we expected. Even the bread tasted stale. The only redeeming item was the onion rings, which we had to settle for due to a shortage of fries. Perhaps the experience is different on a bustling Friday night, but our lunch outing left us feeling underwhelmed. Regrettably, we won't be returning.
