Shannon's Pub & Grille

I am writing this as a warning to anyone considering Shannon’s: proceed with caution. I don’t know what has happened to the management here, but the behavior displayed by the owner, Steve, and his security staff was appalling, dangerous, and completely unprovoked. We brought a large group of regulars here to celebrate my birthday. My boyfriend, a first-time guest and a two-tour combat veteran, simply mistook Steve (who was wearing a staff shirt behind the bar) for a bartender and asked for drinks. Instead of a simple correction, Steve responded with arrogance and aggression, asking, "What makes you think I get drinks?" It was clear Steve was hanging out/drinking at his own bar and took a simple mistake as a bruised ego. He immediately kicked my boyfriend out over this minor misunderstanding. My boyfriend respected the request and left immediately. As I closed our tab (which took less than 60 seconds), the bouncer punched my boyfriend in the face outside. The reason? He allegedly "pushed the door open too hard" on his way out. To the owner: You allowed a simple misunderstanding to escalate into the physical assault of a respectful veteran who was just trying to buy a drink. You and your staff should be ashamed. We will not be back, and we are advising others to steer clear.

came it to pick up an order and they took as long as they possibly could to get it to me. chatting w as many people as possible instead of just doing their job. I get cooking can take some time but putting food in a bag should not take ten minutes. 😒

My stepmother grew up around here, and the steamed shrimp, mussels, seafood here reminds me of her cooking. The staff here are super friendly and don't leave you hanging. Kudos to Leah and Jordan for being great at their jobs. It has been great coming here to get lunch during my time on the job in MD. They clearly take the menu sourcing more seriously than other Maryland bars, their happy hour starts at 3, they have half priced appetizers on Wednesdays, the mussels are a great deal every day. Recommended.

The pub was a clean, welcoming spot with a solid selection of beers and mixed drinks. I tried the Boo Berry Blast cocktail, refreshing and delicious! For food, we ordered the pretzels and wings, both of which hit the spot. The garlic butter with Parmesan wings were the standout, perfectly crispy with incredible flavor in every bite. The sesame teriyaki wings leaned a little saucy and soggy, but the taste was still enjoyable. Overall, a great place to relax, grab drinks, and watch the game. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a quality sports bar experience.

This is a joke of a bar and just one of those hole in the wall kind of joints. They call themselves an Irish Pub but don't know how to make a traditional Irish Coffee and they haven't even heard of Harp. Which is an iconic Irish beer. The light version of a Guinness. I don't recommend this bar at ALL.

We really enjoy this pub. Bartenders are fantastic. Food is delicious. My best friend says the ranch dressing is the best she's ever had. Her hubby said the same about the chicken tenders.

We were there for a catered event in the banquet room downstairs. The 2 attendants stayed on their phone the entire time. Guests were clearing their own dishes and bringing them to the bar, while the 2 workers just sat there and watched. At one point, there was no one working the room and we couldn't get refills. The food wasn't bad but the service was definitely lacking. The attendants were friendly, just not attentive at all.

Place has awesome food. Their strombolis are HUGE. Their orange crushes are amazing, they squeeze the real juice, none of that pre made juice junk. They have live music, Ray Wroten plays here and kills it. This place also has a bunch of good specials too.

Leah was exceptional!!! The greatest bartender in Arbutus Halethorpe and possibly Glen Burnie. The milk was delicious
