Maison Greene is a little gem of a place on Route 30 in Hampstead just outside of the small town. We met for a meeting which included an wonderful breakfast croissant and spiced chai tea. They have entertainment and wine tastings. Good staff and service and I finally met the owner: Lisa Gardner!!!

What a gem! I wish we would have found this adorable spot sooner. I took my girls here for hot chocolate and treats after a Nutcracker performance at the Pantherplex because there wasn’t a Starbucks nearby and feel so lucky we found it! I loved it so much that my husband I went back later that same night for dinner ? Twice in one day means it must be pretty great! Beautiful atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious food. I want to come back for some of their special events!

We ordered three bacon egg and cheese croissants, the belgium waffles, cinnamon roll muffin and two ice caramel lattes. The lady at the counter said they only had one waffle left and that she half the price since the order usually comes with two, but I was still charged full price for one. The waffle looked and tasted the same as the one I buy from a bag from the super market. Not worth $9. And there were 4 blueberries on the waffle... it said it came with both blueberries and raspberries. The muffin was dry and not good at all. The bacon egg and cheese croissants were okay. The frozen egg patty and piece of dirty blonde hair in one of the croissants was the cherry on top. At least the lattes were decent.

We were at Spring Meadow Farms and visited their tent for a coffee. They told us about their nearby location, so we decided to stop by for some nosh and wine. Our son is 1, and they said they had a play area for kids, which really intrigued us. The place is adorable. It's super cozy with different seating areas throughout. We ordered wine, the peppered buffalo flatbread, the figscuitto flatbread, and on order of the pretzel sticks with beer cheese. We went upstairs to where the kids area was. The space was AWESOME for parents! It had a little room with tables next to a playroom for kids. It was honestly a dream. They brought up our wine and food pretty quickly. I can honestly say the beer cheese was the best cheese dip I've ever had. And I've had a lot. The flatbreads were great, too. We ended up ordering an iced caramel latte to go and it was a delight! Service was wonderful. I found pricing to be okay, a little expensive for a small pour of wine. I really wish they had a kids menu. Just a few options. Especially if you've invested in such a great space to bring them along. I also would loooove that cheese dip on a flatbread or sandwich. It was killer. We will be back!
