The variety of beers always amazes me, as does their eclectic taste in music. Today, we went from a Bière de Mars to an English Porter, and Fiona Apple to the Incredible Bongo Band by way of LL Cool J.

An incredibly unique experience in Carroll County. Walk in to appreciate the brew house, community puzzles and games, live music on weekends or vinyl on weekdays. Incredible beer in a thoughtful space, always supporting all types of local businesses, don’t pass up this opportunity of a fun time

Just moved to the area and went by Pipe the Side last night. The beer was good, and I loved the atmosphere. We will be back!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed this brewery. It was my first time here so I got a flight. The English IPA was so good. They have a great selection of games to play while you enjoy your beer. And Colton, who served us, could not have been more welcoming. Overall great vibe and we all look forward to our next visit.

My boyfriend found this place a few weeks ago and couldn't wait to take me. We come from about an hour away and this place totally lived up to how cool he said it is. Loved the grape lemonade seltzer. He adores their beers. The decor is so cool. I use to refinish vintage and antique furniture for a living and I was drooling over some of the pieces in here. That long bench by the register. Wow!!! The wear on that had me in awe. I've seen some cool pieced but that's top 5. Everything is so interesting. Love the old couches and the overall vibe of the place too. Hit it out of the park, guys. Thank you. We will be back!

I love this place. Interesting unique beers and not everything on the menu is an IPA. Variety is great.

After a certain point, breweries all start to look alike. Unless they are built into an old bank or have incredible views on a farm, the beer must do most of the selling. Taprooms in smaller spaces have to work even harder to stand out. But Pipe the Side does just that.

Pipe the Side embraces that fact and provides a unique experience. The walls are covered with an abundance of paintings and pictures of just about everything imaginable. We sadly didn't have a lot of time to spend here. But you feel as home as you do at your grandparent's house (assuming you get along with them).

P.S. the beer is excellent too.
