The Chef Jeff Experience at J&B Restaurant

New to the area and stopped by chance. Food is phenomenal! You can tell it is cooked to order and fresh. Had the biscuits and gravy which was LOADED with fresh sausage. Biscuits were buttery and soft. Delicious! ? presentation and flavor not the same boring glop on a plate which was very cool! Service...AMAZING. Atmosphere....felt right at home! Someone here said prices are expensive?! If anything they need to raise their prices. You can spend the same amount of money at a fast food joint and they are not putting fresh scallions or sausage on their biscuits nor table service. CAN NOT WAIT TO RETURN AND CHECK OUT DINNER!

Besides the food being amazing for a small town, you couldn't ask for better staff and more attentive owners. I have a little girl, and we have been taking her since she was 1, and this is the only local place I feel comfortable taking her on my own. The owners engage with her, other diners engage with her, and I actually get to enjoy a full cup of hot coffee! Plus it helps she LOVES Mr. Jeff’s cheesy eggs he always spoils her with!I could not be more pleased Brenda and Jeff chose to open their restaurant in Hampstead, and provide such an amazing atmosphere (and obviously food)!!!

Excellent small business restaurant I recommend everyone should support AND definitely dine ? at for breakfast lunch or dinner delicious food all around and the owner/chef Jeff is an excellent chef that mans the kitchen and his wife Brenda that mans the dining area is a sweetheart so go check them out ?

I've traveled everywhere because I'm self employed. I usually know all the spots but this one came up in a search. I'm so glad. This place has the best food and I've been everywhere. First time today. I'm going again tomorrow.

Food is amazing. Great dishes: inventive, carefully prepared. Reasonably priced.Wait time was a different story. Arrived at 6:30 Friday evening with reservations. A little slow to get menus and drinks, but it was busy ( every table taken). Each part of the service was later and later. Entree did not arrive until 8pm. Had lost appetite by that time.I'm hoping that they were short staffed or there may have been another problem. No apologies were offered however. .Will give it it another chance because of the quality of the food.

Just had some breakfast and all in all just amazing. I love how they have options that are unique and have a lot of good flavor. This was my first time and I’ll definitely be coming back.

Got a breakfast bowl there. Honey soy sauce with rice, seared pork strips, fresh peppers, fresh red onions, fresh chopped scallions, and an over easy egg to mix in with the whole shebang. I dont know if they have a slogan, but it should be something along the lines of, "Just forking go there". You can trust a bagel when it comes to breakfast food. Go there.

Literally just found out about this place today literally a diamond in the rough order of the pineapple mango pancakes two eggs sunny side up with scrapple and the pancakes came with two delicious sauce to dip them in highly impressed will be ordering from quite frequently and the staff was very friendly upon arrival for takeout

We dined here for the first time last night to celebrate our anniversary. The food was amazing! I had the Bistro Filet and my husband had The Chop. Both were cooked to perfection, the presentation was spot on and the sauces to die for! Jeff and Brenda are so friendly and welcoming. This restaurant is a great addition to the community. Give them a try, you will not be disappointed!

Literally some of these best food I’ve ever eaten. You’ve heard of ma & pa eatery’s, but this place has hands down some of the best, authentic, home made food in carroll county! Amazing.

Enjoyed an evening meal. Pleasant atmosphere with great food. Wonderful service all around. Recommend the salad as a side, and the asparagus was very good. Looking forward to our next meal with Chef Jeff.

Just went for lunch with my dad! It was amazing! Had the special pork tacos with rice and beans. The pork literally fell apart in my mouth and the rice was seasoned perfectly! Everything about the experience was great! Highly recommend :)

I haven't been yet. But my parents loved the food. They have had your great cooking where they live. I know they miss you. But they have been to your restaurant and said nothing but positive things. I will try to come soon.
