I love German food and beer. They have good selections of each. The food was good (try the wurst sampler platter) and the beer was as well (dunkel and Oktoberfest). I thoroughly enjoyed the meal.

Keeping Max Blob's legacy alive. Fantastic food and everyone is super friendly. The wurst sampler is the greatest thing ever. You should definitely go hungry and do like we do and get a bunch of different things to share. Everything we've tried has been awesome. 👌

We had a lovely lunch at the bar. Spoke to owner, Max Eggerl working the bar. Menu is excellent. Well prepared and presented. You won't find a better or more authentic German beer list and menu in the mid Atlantic. Plan to bring the grandchildren for lunch and some schnitzel on the weekend!
We had a fantastic experience here. The food is excellent, and the dining room and bar are very clean and inviting. I had the Kassler Rippchen—it was delish! The other entree was the pick two sausages-spicy beef and veal were delish as well.
We even met the owner, who was friendly and welcoming. Our waitress, Laurie (or Lori), was also wonderful. She stood out with her friendliness and attentiveness—she really made us feel taken care of.
We’ll definitely be back soon!

Absolutely fantastic service, food and excellent beer all at a locally owned and operated restaurant / pub. Their pork loin broke da mouf-- it was delicious! The beer selection (German draught) should satisfy anyone willing to try something new. The ambiance and service was amiable but not overwhelming! It's great for a quiet drink at a local spot or for a gathering of you and 20 of your best friends (recommend you give them a heads up in advance).

Not a big fan of the German cuisine, however I met my husband here, so it’s cool.

The schnitzel and red cabbage were good, but the potato dumplings were horrible. Not like any potato dumplings I've eaten anywhere in Germany and I lived in/toured the country for over 10 years. I informed the waitress the kitchen staff needed to review their recipe. Just googling it came up with a correct traditional German recipe.

Very casual with amazing food and drinks. Growlers to go of some awesome German beer and the bartender pours an amazing cocktails. The Bees Knees is the bees knees.

I really wanted to love this place. As a German I was looking forward to some authentic food from home to help with a case of home sickness. I definitely got sticker shock from the start looking at the menu/prices. Husband chose the Wiener Schnitzel, Little ordered the children's Käsespätzle. My teen and I shared the 'Dinner for 2' (Jägerschnitzel, Kassler Rippchen, 2 kinds of Sausage; we picked Brats and Curry Wurst) with potato salad & Spätzle as our sides . . . the potato salad was tasting off, seasoning and/or past its prime, I requested an exchange for red cabbage, which was really yummy. As was the Kassler Rippchen and the kids cheese spätzle. The rest of our platter and my husband's dish, not so much. His and our Schnitzel were tough & unseasoned, even with the Jaeger sauce it was entirely boring 😩. The Curry sauce for the Currywurst ist supposed to be a (warm) Curry Ketchup normally, here it was served on the side & tasted overwhelmingly like liquid curry powder/seasoning and not much else. I will give props to our waitress though for handling the service pretty much by herself and keeping her friendly disposition. Unfortunately that won't be enough for us to return given the quality/quantity of food compared to the prices charged.

AWESOME!
Visiting family in MD for the week and decided to hit this place up for some authentic German cuisine.
Did not disappoint.
Even though there was only one server, we got our food and drinks on time and it was immaculate!

Such a fun dinner! Authentic German food & beer.
For dinner we had the kartoffelpuffer, schweinehaxe, & Jägerschnitzl. The knödel && red cabbage sides were phenomenal!
