Bonchon Hanover

This was our first time trying this place and I really wanted to like it. The taste of food seemed really good although my family spent over $70 on two meals plus an appetizer which is pretty pricy for just a to-go order. We ended up with horrible stomach issues afterwards for two days straight ( we are no strangers to “spicy” or otherwise) Not sure why but I pray they are cleanly back in the kitchen. Service wasn’t as friendly and accommodating as I wished either. I’ve been recommended by friends to try this place but unfortunately I don’t see us returning.

A bit pricey but good! The Japchae lacked flavor I was expecting from previous experiences with Japchae but the Bulgogi fries & the Korean Street corn was super yummy! Food was decently quick, probably about 10-20 minutes. Very filling. Definitely want to go back to try the wings, pictures all over the interior make them look super yummy!

Food quality of this franchise has dropped drastically or this specific location is not following standards. The restaurant is freezing cold which ruins the entire experience. I’m inside the restaurant freezing with my food. It’s literally as cold as it is outside that even the employees are wearing winter jackets indoors. What a terrible experience and waste of money.

Bonchon is usually good food, but I didn't eat at this place. When we arrived, we were greeted with a "Sit wherever, I'll get to you when I can." Mind you, the place was empty. The same server then threw some menus on the table and walked off. Even worse, it's currently 17 degrees outside and it was freezing in the store. I asked if they could turn up the heat a little and was rebuffed. Bonchon's food is good, but not good enough to freeze while waiting on poor service

Smallest portion of Bulgogi I've ever received at a restaurant. For the highest price, wasn't happy to leave hungry. Online shows a large portion of Bulgogi covering a large skillet. When I ordered in resturant all I got was a tiny portion in a bowl, and the Bulgogi was barely a quarter filled in the bowl. For $19.99, I was disappointed 👎. The flavor, taste, and quality were good and left me hungry and wanting more.

Not quite sure why the negative reviews. Our first time at this location. Food was great, seasoning was good. Withhold Standards of Bonchon franchise. Our server was great!! You guys are doing great! Keep up the great work! Dont mind the negative reviews, dont let them bring you down.

I am not sure why this location doesn't have better reviews. The food here is amazing. I have been here three times in the last couple of months and it's the best fried chicken around. I get take out from here whenever I am in the area. Keep up the great work!

Food was terrible. Couldn’t eat most of it. $50 worth. There was a guy peaking and staring through the kitchen double door. He had it cracked and all you could see was his face. Stood there for awhile. Really weird. I would avoid this place.

Came in around 8:30 was asked if we wanted to dine in or take out then after we said dine in was told no. Also got told the kitchen was closing so it’s going to be a long while and ended up taking 25 mins for boneless wings.

I love this place but I can’t get my food in less than an hour here if it’s even semi-busy. Went right when they opened up for lunch, it took almost 40 mins to get our order of chicken strips and gyoza(?). Plus, we didn’t get refills for our drinks…even with our spicy chicken orders. Why do people expect tips and do less than the minimum? It’s not like the restaurant was busy (two other tables) and the restaurant is so small, it takes one minute to walk around and see who needs a refill. The service is what will keep me from going back.

Kid-friendliness: Food!

The food really is good which is very sad because the service couldn't get any worse. Don't expect refills, information, accurate times, food within an hour of ordering, or clean tables.
