“I’m surprised to see the review saying that they were rude or had attitude. I was welcomed with a huge grin. And polite conversation was made. Also, another review said that the pizza was lackluster. I feel the opposite. Both times, it was delicious. I got regular white pizza. It isn’t traditional though. It kind of reminds me of lasagna. But it the best say possible. Delicious. A BIG complaint is that they close too early. Excuse me? People have families. Have some empathy. Please support this small business. I know it might be a sin, but I’ll say it. Better than Sorrentos.“

If you're from the city, you know what I'm talking about! TJ's is a hole in the wall, carryout only, but if you want a greasy and delicious lunch, don't sleep on TJ's!“

“I wasn't prepared for how outstanding the food was. Seriously. I ordered takeout and went with what the keywords were: Brussel sprouts and Cheesesteak. The portions were ample. The fries were hot and hearty, and the cheesesteak was delicious. Not messy but juicy- terrific toasted roll. BUT WAIT!!! The brussel sprouts were the best - THE. BEST.- I have ever tasted. They were roasted to perfection and they were solidly baked through! They retained every ounce of heat and were a solid treat as they were. OMG THE SAUCE! The spicy sauce on the sprouts were an explosion of taste. Phenomenal! First time there and I will be back.“

“Friendly staff. The food is made fresh, chicken box is their hit menu item. Salt, Pepper, and ketchup all over chicken box hits everytime. Their cheesesteaks are decent but would be alot better if they had a better sub roll. Sometimes they are really busy and recommend calling in. Its in the hood and sometimes too many people hanging out in front of the store and in front of Bryan's Chicken spot two doors down.“

“We have been going to Mona's for years. This was my first visit since the renovation. The new look has a beachside, cozy café feel, but I do miss the old family-style restaurant feel with the owner's family pictures on the wall. The service is still fast. The food is still hot, fresh, and flavorful, and the staff are still very friendly. We will keep coming back!“

“I usually don’t do reviews but I have to give this place the credit they deserve. I placed a order for cheesesteaks and fries was given a delivery time of 45 mins. My food arrived in 30 mins and I must say it was the best cheesesteak I think I ever had. The sub was huge definitely worth it. I can’t believe all the time I been in this area and I am just finding this place will definitely be my choice of sub shop from here on out.“

“The food was good. They had background music playing extremely loud and the lady working the counter spoke very softly so it was hard to hear her questions. The music was so loud we could not even talk while we ate our lunch. As other people came in we noticed they were also asking for things to be repeated a few times. Another customer, around 25 yrs old commented to us that the music was too loud.

Parking: The parking lot is narrow and has constant traffic, making it difficult to get in and out.“
