Notified me DAY OF Mother’s Day that they allowed for a Mother’s Day brunch booking with only 15 min allowed for brunch. At the time of booking with the casino this week, they said they could accommodate. They suggested pushing reservation to 4 before me asking to see if they could offer an earlier accommodation. Unfortunately that accommodation was too soon to allow for all the mothers in the party to get there on time. I told them this should have been told at least 1 day in advance, not 2.5 hours before booking. Completely unacceptable service, lacking empathy and understanding. A poor experience to say the least.
I’d like to share my experience with David’s restaurant at Live Casino Hotel. I first noticed the restaurant during a show at the hotel, and afterward, I wanted to stop by for dinner. However, it seemed that only the bar area was open for seating, so I decided to wait for another time.
A month later, I returned on a Wednesday morning to try David’s for breakfast. I had high expectations for the cuisine, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. As someone with gluten sensitivities, I noticed that the menu didn’t mark any gluten-free options. I thought it would be fine and ordered something safe, like steak and eggs.
When my meal arrived, half the plate was filled with home fries that had been battered, and crumbs from these fries (which contained wheat) had spread onto my eggs. The menu had listed a New York strip steak, but it was clearly a very thin sirloin. The server did kindly offer to exchange the potatoes for fruit, which I appreciated.
I also ordered coffee, and although only French press was available, I decided to give it a try. However, by the time it arrived, I had already finished my meal. There were coffee grounds in the carafe, and the coffee itself tasted burnt. When I mentioned this to the server, he seemed indifferent. I was surprised to be charged $7 for coffee that I couldn’t even drink. Additionally, there was no sugar or cream offered—I had to grab packets from another table.
Overall, I really wanted this to be a great experience, but unfortunately, it fell short. I wasn’t even offered water at the table. While the atmosphere is nice, the food and service need improvement. For that reason, I’d rate it three stars.

The atmosphere and service are wonderful. The food, however, is subpar. The food is overpriced because there doesn't seem to be any type of quality control in the kitchen. Flavorless, overcooked, and even burnt food was served.
Here is a picture of the $18 omelet w bacon and a picture of the $29 NY strip that was supposed to be medium rare. The French toast is described on the menu as stuffed, it is actually 3in bread topped with bland cream.

with 7 patrons in the restaurant, two cocktails took 45 minutes and they were made incorrectly. the apps took about 35mins, 50% never even came out. half the food was good, half was inedible. this is a management issue i think. the staff was untrained.

Very nice atmosphere. The hostess and server were both friendly and welcoming. Prices were affordable and the food was good. I had the catfish and chips
Quiet and tucked away - perfect place to relax or have a working lunch.

Sat down, ordered a beer, waited 15 minutes with no sign of the server, so I left. Will not return or recommend.

This was by far one of the worst restaurant experiences. We sat for 15 mins at a table at the bar after being told someone would be over to help us by the bartender. No one ever came. One of the server’s walked by, looked at our table and pretended like we didn’t exist. When I stood at the bar to order our food, we were completely ignored along with several other people who were trying to order. I was truly looking forward to dining here and I will never come back. Absolutely terrible experience.

Excellent selection of food and drinks. Their Tuna poke nachos, crab cakes and Salmon are top notch. Very well designed and good vibes. We are looking forward to try the happy hour here soon!

The atmosphere at David's is surely a vibe ✨️. Nice newer model restaurant built in the new addition of Maryland Live Casino. The server was very kind and understanding, he knew that we waited a long period of time to get our order, there were Noone in the restaurant and our food took a very long time to come out, Moreover, they fixed it with a nice discount. The food is regular, we got 2 regular traditional breakfast fried potatoes, scrabble eggs and cheese, and choice of protein. One crab omelet, I didn't see any substitute for vegetarian or turkey or chicken options. Devil eggs were nothing fancy or eye catching, The smash burger ? was just regular. The food is just basic. Nothing flavorful! However, I do feel like the pricing can be adjusted. David's is NOT a MUST try again or I WOULDN'T SET ANY recommendation.
Parking: All surrounded because of nearby mall and casino garage.
Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to get in.

Pretty disappointed with my dining experience. The one food item that had flavor was the chive cheddar biscuits they were great. Ordered the Flatiron chicken and I wish that it actually tasted like an iron because at least that's a flavor. The spinach was fresh but also tasteless. I also order the spicey shrimp tomato soup, zero flavor except tomato so it was like eating lumpy tomato soup. I regret not eating somewhere else at Live. My friends food wasn't much better. My previous visit was much better than this one.
