Kokee Tea is a nice spot for boba drinks with a wide range of customisations—flavour choices, sweetness levels, ice options, and different types of boba. However, one major downside is the excessive ice, especially in slushy-based drinks.
I tried the Pina Colada—the flavour was refreshing, but half the cup was just ice, which really diluted the experience. I recommend requesting no ice or light ice to enjoy the drink better.
On the positive side, the Purple Love (taro-based) and the melon drink were both delicious and worth trying. With better control over the ice, Kokee Tea has the potential to be a much more enjoyable boba spot.

The person preparing my drink just did not have decent customer service. I ordered one drink, and she served me a different drink. No big deal, but she never acknowledged that she made the mistake and seemed irritated that I asked her to make the correct drink. She then told me that it would cost me an additional $.50. Again, not a big deal but I didn't find that it was reasonable for her to want me to swipe my cc for $.50. I shared that with her and she ignored me. She very much seemed like she was angry that she was serving me drinks. Do not support this business.

Brown sugar milk tea way too watered down / lacking flavor even with less ice (maybe there was a mistake with the order though—the container was half full of ice 😭), but the Dream of Butterfly fruit tea was pretty good! Very tangy. Self-order kiosk was easy + my two orders were ready within 1-2 min though!

When I was in the store I bought two purple loves and they charged me less than $20 and I paid for it by card. Later when I got there I checked the list of what I bought and it appeared that they charged me $34

had this while near dc on my 8th grade trip and it was actually the highlight of that whole week. like walking around that mall even though we weren't supposed to was the best decision of my life if i ever travel to dc again ill come here first best boba ever keep doing good

Just came out the casino trying to get boba fix it was ok i guess boba too mushy or some were . Taro wasn’t really pushing
