I would recommend Phubbs again and again! I stumbled into this place on a whim for lunch one day while working. The decor is minimal but inviting. All the staff were friendly and eager to help. I even got a recommendation on which banh mi to order! I ended up ordering the phó ga (chicken) and it was delicious. It came with lots of bean sprouts, onions, jalapeño and lime. The flavors in the broth were incredible! The banh mi i chose was the sesame ginger banh mi that came with pickled carrots and celery on top. The flavor was bold and tangy with lots of crunch from the pickled veggies on top. I will definitely be coming back here for lunch again and spreading the word to all that will listen! This is a true Hanover Gem! Ps there is also a cross street market location in downtown Baltimore!

Being from Hawaii my buddy and I were craving some Asian food. Walked into this place and it was a mess. Almost every table was dirty like no one picked up from lunch. And it was about 2pm when we walked in there. Stood around waiting to be served and asked if some was going to catch our order and one of the cooks practically "snapped" at us. Told us to hold up and got real sassy. No proper greeting just plain rude. After ordering the guy flicks the ticket number to me and turns the monitor to me harshly as if he doesn't want to serve us then walks away. My buddy mentions that the kitchen is a filth. We waited for about ten minutes as one of the cooks disappears. Not knowing what he could do to our food we decide if it's worth it. NOPE!! Not gonna wait around for the possibility for sabotaged food. Eventually the outcome was a waste of $26 and a horrible experience. We left the restaurant distressed with a negative outcome. Would we recommend this place. Ask yourself with what you heard. Is it worth your time? I should have taken pictures but this is what I have which resembles a lot if one knows the restaurant business. Two empty bottles of plum sauce and a quarter filled bottle of something g else? Why are these bottles empty and still turned upside down? Almost every table's condiments were like this. What are your taste buds telling g you.

I'm not an expert on Pho, but this was good. Although there was more green than desired, there was plenty of meat to counter.

I ordered the "all beef up" online but when I picked it up it didn't have of what I ordered. instead I got cabbage and spinach in the pho, the broth was bland, had no taste. It's like they just made the broth with artificial seasoning. I also got the Vietnamese coffee and that wasn't any good either, it tasted like water, didn't have any condense milk in it. I called them twice but no one answered the phone and then emailed so far no response. I'm never going to order from there again. And you shouldn't either, don't waste your hard earn money at this place.

I'm not sure what happened to this place because it used to be really good. I had a very regrettable experience with their food. I ordered a take-out order and upon arrival, one of the cooks sneezed into his arm without a mask. Then went right back to cooking without washing his hands. I was Highly disturbed. Luckily he wasn't working on my order. (I made sure to say a nice prayer before I ate my food). I ordered the bulgogi Bahn Mi with summer rolls. Usually when I order these delicious items, everything is fresh - crisp cucumbers and other veggies, fresh bread, and well seasoned meat. This is not what I tasted. The bread was not fresh and was very flat - it didn't have that same soft flaky crunch that a fresh baguette usually has. The cucumbers looked like they were going bad because they were not crisp and were a little soft. And most of all, the veggie to meat ratio in the sandwich was completely off. It was more like a meat sandwich with 3 cucumber slices and a little kimchi. That was not a bahn mi. It tasted more like an Arby's meat sandwich - not cool. The summer rolls were not good. They were more like rice noodle burritos wrapped in rice paper. The cook just grabbed a handful (big hands) of rice noodles and threw it in the summer rolls - I def had a tough time chewing through that. Summer rolls are supposed to be small, fresh, crisp with a nice crunch - easy to eat. The summer roll I got was not fresh, it was a burrito with more rice noodles you would ever like to eat, and veggies that were not fresh. It was so bad that I couldn't bear myself to eat the 2nd one (and I love to eat). I definitely was not impressed and I don't plan on coming back anymore. Time to find another bahn mi spot.

I tried this place a few years ago and it was great. Today, nothing but disappointment. The pork shrimp spring rolls...no cilantro or anything flavorful...1 piece of meat, 1 shrimp sliced in half to make it look like two, stuffed full of lettuce and noodles stuff with a few slivers of veggies. Sucked! The pho beef soup was soso...no flavor at all. We left half the food on the table and left...feel like I got ripped off for $30

Yikes, no idea how this has 4 stars. Maybe that many people lack tastebuds. I'm going to leave this Pho spot to go to another Pho spot. That's how bad it is. Broth is not proper Pho broth. summer rolls are the worst iv ever had. Good god.

One of the best pho spots I’ve had. My shrimp pho was loaded generously. The spot is also very clean.

Had the spicy chicken bowl. Although the chicken was pretty good, the portion was pretty small on the protein. Also, the noodles in the bottom were pretty tasteless, no sauce or anything on them.I will try the rice next time. The pho looked good, will be back to try some other options.

Ordered takeout from here for the first time today. Everything is delicious and everyone was super nice when I went in. Definitely give them a shot!

Not worth even one star. I am not sure how the rating for this place is so high, but by far the worst place I've been in Maryland. On Yelp it says the staff members are required to wear masks, but none of them did. Also the table was very dirty so I had ask them to wipe off, and they brought even dirtier wet cloth to wipe it off, which was disgusting. I brought my 10-month old with me because (again) on Yelp it says it's a good place to bring kids. However, they had a highchair, which again was really dirty, so I had to leave my kid in the stroller. Talking about food, the pho was ok, but the amount of noodle was too small compared to how much it costs. And since this place was so dirty, I couldn't really focus on tasting the food. I had to quickly eat it and leave.

Not authentic at all. The pho broth tasted like salt water. And they gave me bean sprouts that were spoiled brown on the side. Thai tea boba was horrible also. Won't be back.

If you're looking for authentic, this is not the place. Service was good, workers are friendly people. As a Vietnamese person, the pho was lacking flavor, especially their vegan one, which I was looking forward to trying. I ended up using salt, pepper, lime, and the sauces to flavor my broth. Banh mi wasn't too bad though. I wouldn't come back again, but again people were very friendly! Food could use improvement.

Broth is flavorful and delicious! But they stop answering the phone and accepting online orders at 8pm on Saturdays. They close at 9.

What an awesome place for lunch. The lunch special is the thing to get off you don't know what you want. Bowl of pho is HUGE and the chicken sandwich is amazingly delicious. Viet iced coffee has a chocolatey creaminess that blends nicely with the Sriracha that you add to your soup. Crawling under my desk for an afternoon nap now...
