I was having a rough morning as I missed my early morning flight out of BWI. To pass the time until my now afternoon flight, I decided to go to Starbucks. Seemed only one person was working, place was dead. Ordered decaf coffee with extra skim. It was very dark so I asked for more skim. He poured some in a small cup and put it on the counter. Employee didn't smile at me once. I was friendly, and I even apologized for requesting more skim milk. 2 *s for service because it was rather quick.
I wouldn’t usually review a Starbucks, but this one was great! Made a mobile order that was done quickly. They were so kind and welcoming, that it stood out to me. Smiling, said good morning, have a great day, put our food in a bag with napkins so it was easy to carry - the little things you don’t usually see anymore. Maybe it was the good vibes, but my drink was also made to perfection and tasted better than usual. Kudos to the team!
