Great tasting sushi and we love the lunch special! We’ve been here a few times now and each time our service is excellent, staff is very friendly! ☺️

This is a relatively new restaurant that took the space formerly occupied by the Red Parrot. They really brightened the place up in terms of decor and atmosphere, with wide open windows allowing passersby to see the activity inside. This fits well with their food presentation, especially the sushi. They put a lot of work into plating those dished, so it is good to show off.The menu is very similar to that of their predecessor, offering a variety of Chinese, Thai, and sushi fare in an Asian fusion style. If I had to say only one thing about their food, it would be that they use bold flavors. From the kick of peppery heat in the dishes marked as spicy to the undertones of Wasabi and sweet fruitiness of mango sauce on select sushi rolls, the taste is as strong as the presentation.Service is friendly and engaging. They politely engage with you while taking your order, and follow up throughout you meal without being overbearing. The facility is kept neat and clean. Large long tables ensure your group isn't too crowded, although they could use a bit more leg room.Definitely worth checking out if you are in the area. Conveniently located near the mall and casino, it is a place you shouldn't skip.

On my first visit, I was disappointed with this place. The service was slow. Other patrons seated after me were served and cashed out before my main course arrived. When I mentioned to my server that this was unacceptable, she sheepishly stated the sushi bar was busy, failed to have a manager follow up. She did not check whether or not I wanted or needed anything more, or if I was satisfied with the food. The lunch special was with 2 rolls. The unagi with avocado roll was decent. The spicy tuna roll was quite sad and mushy. Good service means so much to me when I go out. Training and customer service flowing from the top of this new establishment is lacking. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Red Parrot will be sorely missed.

If I could give this place six stars, I would. The food is amazingly good, and the service is top notch.I had the Japanese specialties, and the King Salmon and Toro were some of the best I've had in my life - among the best this side of the Mississippi, perhaps even this side of the Pacific.The staff and the chef are awesome, and the calm yet modern atmosphere helps put the finishing touches on an already impeccable experience.Absolutely wonderful.

Stopped by with the family for dinner on a whim (after a movie at nearby Arundel Mills Mall). Tomo was a very pleasant surprise. Quiet. Clean. Efficient. Delicious. Fresh.The waitstaff is incredibly friendly. They stopped by our table frequently, filling our waters, making sure that all was good, taking additional food orders.The food was very good. Very fresh and tasty. We had a variety of dishes and they were all truly good.The restaurant itself was very quiet. We have no idea if it's always that way but for a Sunday dinner it was. And extremely clean: not a spot on the floor anywhere.Oh, and they have the coolest water bottles I've ever seen. I would have stolen one but they were big ... and that wouldn't have been very nice of me. We'll definitely be returning. We're always looking for new places to go for food, and we've absolutely found one in Tomo!!

Fantastic bento box included the best tempura shrimp I have ever had. Delicious salmon, and wonderful roll. Amazing shrimp pad thai.Will definitely return!!Thank you!

Great sushi, had the bird's nest of fire (get it extra spicy!) New restaurant, get Asahi and premium Saki next door for BYOB until they get their liscence.

Stopped by this lovely restaurant during a road trip down to the MD area with a few friends. Liked the Ambience…place was super clean and staff was helpful & attentive - recommended us some good dishes! I personally ordered the yellow curry with chicken. I really liked the flavor (perfect spice level for me) and it was perfect for the cold weather! My friends who enjoyed sashimi also said it was very fresh. highly recommend. :)

Their lunch boxes are very worth it. I didn't notice it at first, but the miso soup bowl (comes with the lunch box) had the name of the restaurant on it. The lunch box itself was very aesthetically pleasing with everything being separated into their own little section and the variety of color from the different parts of it. Taste-wise, everything tasted like you would expect, with the only surprise being how hot everything was (which was perfect for a December afternoon). The service was also fantastic and everything (our food arriving, finished plates being taken away, etc) was done in a timely manner. I had a very solid experience and will probably be returning to try their other menu items.

Tried their lunch special which was worth the price. It came with miso soup, salad, gyozo, and California rolls as sides. The food came out hot, and the rolls were nice and cold (not room temperature). The service was great- the server was attentive and the food came in a timely manner. They have other Asian foods on their menu that I'd like to try next time!

I went here with my son for dinner, and the experience exceeded my expectations. The ambience was warm and welcoming, and you can tell that a lot of thought went into the design of the space. Our order arrived promptly, the server was attentive and friendly, and most importantly, the food was delicious. The sweet chili mango shrimp was seasoned perfectly, having just the right amount of spice.When we finished our meal, the owner introduced himself. He was very friendly, and you could tell that he truly cares about the customer experience and making the customer feel welcome. I liked it so much that I ordered takeout the next night; I will definitely be back.You should absolutely give this place a try!
