The people here are super rude! My family went there and they were talking shit about how one of us dressed. It’s absolutely ridiculous and petty! Will not be coming here again!

Besides the hostess and the server who were just doing their best, every aspect of the visit was weird, and the food was just bad. The atmosphere was less than okay, but a bit too empty, sort of half done/decorated, and the state of the menus should have been a first clue as to what was to come. I don't know if this is how it normally is there, but our party of 9 waited an hour for burgers. The 5 kids got incredibly cranky and restless before I asked them to please just bring out whatever food was available so they'd get eating. When the grownup burgers finally arrived, I was a bit disappointed at their size (not much bigger than the kids' sliders), and even more at the charred taste from the burnt burger. I still can't believe that burger, which comes with a small bag of chips, was twenty US dollars. Thoroughly disappointing, absolutely undeserving of the 4 star review that convinced us to visit.
Is this the same chain from the restaurant at fells point? Feels worlds apart to be frank.

Went to try this place out, very old English tavern feel. Service was great, very personable from all the staff. Food was solid, good variety of burgers. Plenty of TVs around, a lot of sound from all around due to acoustics, but still could hear my company at the table. Solid outing overall.

I’ve never met someone so petty they questioned their tip after poor service.
Have your employer pay your salary and don’t question me for over priced beer and your inability to handle a situation professionally. I was nearly over charged for their pickle chips special pricing and then was chastised for asking for a correction on my chit.
Don’t mark $6 all week, then start asking questions if I “mind paying more… ?”
Yeah I do. That’s false advertising and to even put me on the spot for my clarification shows a real lack of professionalism. Maybe that’s why this place was dead at dinner rush.

This burger joint is a great place for anybody who love burgers! There is a checklist that no only lets you pick your toppings for the burger, but the type of meat you want, how you want it cooked, and what type of bun you want on your burger. I had a bison burger with bacon and American cheese medium well. The burger was cooked perfectly, seasoned well, and I could tell it was bison since bison is a leaner meat than beef.
For history buffs out there, this restaurant is also located in the most historic building of Havre de Grace. Known as the Rodger's House, this building is the only surviving residence from the Raid of Havre de Grace in 1813 during the War of 1812.
Overall, I would recommend this location for those who love burgers, those who love history, and those who love Havre de Grace and all its charm.

Ate here instead of the great Wolf Lodge where we were staying. Daughter has a lot of food allergies and they were great and gave her delicious food!

Shocking that a burger place can be this bad. Went here today Sunday July 20th with kids and friends. Ordered a pretzel and the chef burned the last one. They substituted with pretzel bites. Thought that was nice of them. We then ordered burgers for the kids and a burger to split with my wife. The waitress said they could cut it in half since we were sharing. They came out a short while later with a extra burger and could figure out why. They took that back. They brought out my burger to split and after bitting the small corner realized the bread was ice cold. No problem I guess. But then the half my wife had was missing any burger reminisce at all. I asked the waitress nicely to take it because I wouldn't want to pay for half a burger. No problem. The manager Victoria came out and said that she never comps any food didn't want to insinuate that we ate the other half BUT there was a burger according to her and the cook. I then became a little shocked that a local restaurant in small havre de grace would say anything like that. I then told her I would like to speak to her boss and that I wouldn't be paying for a missing burger. Tracey the owner got on the phone with Victoria and over the phone stated there was a burger on that bun. I was then really confused how she could be so sure there was a burger on the other half because the patties are small and probably got cut small. I then again let Tracy know there was absolutely no slice sliver price of burger on the other half and I dont believe that they tried to accuse my of eating the half missing. Laughing in disbelief also because kids were with us my wife paid and tipped the waitress either way. It wasn't her fault. But the manager and owner and cook all accuse us of eating taking hiding this missing half. Just in disbelief that they would do that to a customer.

I've been here before, and all experiences thus far have been great. Even this time with a migraine that came outta no where. Ended up leaving early and taking my food home because of it. Our server was great and very nice.
My kiddos love picking and choosing their burger options. The atmosphere is bubbly and charged. You can come by yourself or as a group or even do a family outing. Tons of seating: booths, tables, or hightop. They do serve alcohol. Some days or nights, they have live music.
Plenty of parking all around, wheelchair accessible door through the backside of the building (parking lot). Public restrooms - as far as I can tell, always clean and stocked up. Just be aware if there are festivities going on in the area. You may have to hike a bit to get there, but it's worth it. Trust me ❤️

Overhyped Burger, Undercooked Start, Overcooked Finish
Service was fine, but the food? Not so much. Burger came out rare instead of medium rare, then got torched to medium well on the redo. Buns were cold (despite being “toasted” on the menu), and the fries went cold waiting for the burgers to come back. Onion rings were the only highlight—crispy, hot, and actually worth eating. Came for the rave reviews, left wondering what we missed.
