What an excellent High tea experience at Bella’s tea room. I hosted a Bridal High Tea Experience at this intricate gem of a space hidden in the heart of Havre de grace. The owner, Al and his staff were exceptional. They allocated an intimate space with lovely treats and also provided Halal chicken sandwiches. Totally recommend this place for family and friend gatherings.

Bella’s Tea Room, Havre de Grace, MD:
The service was very good. Free parking out front and nearby. The food menu is very
limited, and our sandwiches and cookies tasted grocery store bought.
Our main issue, however, is with the decor. It is very overdone, mismatched, dusty, cluttered and because of this I’m sorry to say, tacky. This is not how any Victorian tea room I’ve visited is presented.
A tastefully decorated Victorian tea room with quality tea sandwiches, pastries and cookies is a delightful afternoon respite from other modern day gathering choices.
I’m sorry to say that on my visit I did not find this to be the case at Bella’s.

Absolutely delightful! My mother and I brought my 5 year old granddaughter there for a special birthday tea, and had a wonderful time! The tea room itself is decorated in shades of pink, blue, and white, with lots of flowers, hats you can wear, and beautiful Victorian collectibles. The tea itself was elegantly served , with many choices of teas, and finger sandwiches, pastries and scones. LOTS of food, in fact! And the service was top notch : friendly, attentive , and very welcoming. We’ll be back!

My husband and I had high tea at Bella's Tea Room on May 25 to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. We are anglophiles, and Bella's did not disappoint! A life-size photo of Prince Harry is on the outer door of the restroom! I chose a fancy blue summer hat to wear from their selection of delightful headgear. The food was delicious and plentiful--we began with salads with honey-mustard dressing and our choices of tea in colorful ceramic teapots. I drank iced decaf apricot black tea, and Michael had hot Earl Grey. Next was a scrumptious butterscotch scone with clotted cream and lemon curd. Then the beautiful tiered cake tray arrived! On the lowest level were the sandwiches--egg salad, ham, cucumber/cream cheese, and tuna. The middle level had amazing raspberry macarons, creampuffs filled with whipped cream and dusted with confectionary sugar, and chocolate cake balls covered with a delicate pink icing. The top level was graced with fresh strawberries and orange slices, plus rich strawberry mini cheesecakes! We ate almost all of our celebratory "lunch"; it was so much food that we took a cake ball, a scone, and a cheesecake home with us. Throughout, the service was attentive and friendly. This is the best tearoom I have ever been to. We can't wait to return for our 11th anniversary, if not sooner : ) Thank you, Bella's!

WE LOVE TERRY SO MUCH IN THIS HOUSE! Her hospitality and service was 10/10! The elite go to I wouldn’t want to go anywhere that doesn’t have Terry. She was so welcoming, knowledgeable, and just an overall good time. Honestly, for afternoon tea the prices are amazing! You get full extremely quick and you can take your treats home. I loved the tea but truly Terry stole our hearts! I will be back with my friend

It was ok. Very overpriced. Was surprised to see tea bags at 8.99 a pot. Food was good, service was good, but overall you can the same experience for less money somewhere like tea by two in bel air or the tea trolley in White Ford.
It was well decorated and the service was lovely. Waitress was amazing and a very good experience if not for the amount of money you spend compared to other tea rooms near there. Overall, not a bad experience but I most likely won't visit again unless they lower their prices.

Out of English Breakfast tea on Saturday. Limited tea options, delicious food. Would love to see more flavors. Such a cute tea room, decorated so nicely. Staff were so kind and we had a great time!

The staff is very friendly and the food is awesome. The homemade butterscotch scones were the best I ever had. When it came to the tea, I asked them to surprise me and both of the choices they picked for me were amazing. I highly recommend.

100% coming back, when you walk in there’s a smell of the scones and the food is good, I had to take a box I was so stuffed

As a 28 year-old man who came here alone, this was a wonderful, adorable, delicious experience. The tea was great, the scone was warm and gigantic. The sandwiches left a little to be desired, to be fair. They were all slathered in mayo, which isn't my favorite.
