La Cucina is delicious! We've enjoyed their pizza on two separate occasions. We can't wait to go back and try more of the menu.

The pizza was really good. They didn't even skimp on the bacon - which is rare. Our server was very pleasant and attentive. The mozzarella sticks were average. The atmosphere was a bit dark, and the decor was a bit busy. But it still hit as a cozy spot. It was a good crossover between a pizza hole in the wall and an Italian restaurant. The only bad thing to say was that they were very aggressive about credit card charges and trying to convince you to use cash. I'm sure that CC fees are crazy, but just roll it into your prices like everywhere else in the world. Making a big deal and asking for cash tips only is tacky.

Gluten free calamari- need I say more? This is heaven for someone with celiac or gluten sensitivities. The gluten free menu was extensive, they have a separate fryer for gluten free. The food was amazing. And for the regular (not gluten free) people out there, my husband said it's the best pizza he's ever had!Dietary restrictions: Extensive gf menu, separate gluten free fryer

If I could leave 0 stars. I would. RUDE staff and owner is god awful. I had the worst dining experience I think I have ever had in any establishment in my life. Firstly, I want to say the food wasn't the sole issue of this although it is way overpriced for the quality. I ordered the spaghetti. Hard dish to mess up right? I don't normally return dishes unless it's really that unpalatable. I wish I'd taken a photo honestly. the sauce was so watery, and soupy. It was bland. It tasted like V8 poured over noodles. I tasted it, and let everyone at my party of 4 try a bite as well to gather their opinions as well because it was just that bad. they agreed with me. So respectfully, and SHYLY I apologized to the waitress and asked if I could possibly send it back because I didn't like it. she didn't have an issue with this and removed my dish from the table. Moments later the owner, an older woman with black hair approaches the table and asked me what was wrong with the dish. Now I suffer from social anxiety so even just returning it made me very nervous but when I explained that I didn't like it, and everyone else at the table agreed it was not good, the woman proceeded to raise her voice at my friends and I and tell me that I am wrong, she has the best tomato sauce around and I am a liar and trying to cheat her for a free meal. she said if I am full I should just admit it instead of eating half the dish and returning it. Mind you only FOUR bites were taken off this massive 18.99 plate of pasta. Mine, and my friends small bites only to taste. I started to shut down because I don't handle confrontation very well and my friend stood up for me and told her that this was very rude and unprofessional of her to treat us this way and the woman insisted that I buy another entree to make up for the money of hers we wasted (which makes no sense if you think about it because now she's used two dishes worth of resources for the price of what I sent back) and refused to take no for an answer. I told her I didn't want another dish and I was helping my boyfriend finish his pasta instead (his wasn't as bad) she then LEANED over the table across my friends partner and her cleavage was directly in this poor man's face. And nearly on his plate of food trying to get in my friends face who is seated in the far end of the booth. They both get pretty loud, and the owner tells my friend to SHUT UP. At this point I'm so shocked I can't believe what is happening because I politely returned a dish. Then the owners offspring start yelling at our table from the kitchen telling us not to talk to their mother this way. When the entire time she stood there and accused me of lying, called us names, and profiled me as a broke teenager because my style resembles that of a hippie and I have a baby face. (I'm 26 with a well paying job). We told her we will pay for what we did eat and will see ourselves out. and will not be returning. We tipped our waitress who was very kind and apologized to us very well for being so patient and understanding with us and left. Like many other 1 star reviews on this restaurant, the food is mediocre for the price, the owner and most of the staff are absolutely horrendous with a very bad attitude and no respect for their customers. Especially my friends who eat there regularly and brought us (out of towners) there to enjoy a meal. this place is tragic. And I hope karma gets this woman. Disgusting behavior. Take your money elsewhere because they surely don't deserve it.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dining at our beloved Italian pizza spot with three friends, and it was a letdown. Despite the initial excitement, the evening quickly turned sour. The pizzas and salads arrived promptly, but my wife's spaghetti was inexplicably delayed. Adding insult to injury, we had to wait 45 minutes for our table for five on a bustling Friday night. Just as we were wrapping up and waiting for my wife to finish her wine, the owner approached us rudely, insisting we leave as they had other patrons waiting. This abrupt and inhospitable encounter marred what could have been an enjoyable evening out with friends.we were conversing for about 10-15 mins while my wife drank her wine . I realize never hold up a table that others needed. We were trying to impress our friends because the food is so good. We as a party were flabbergasted and really embarrassed. We are good tippers and very friendly with the owners for about 15- 20 yrs. I guess there is an unwritten rule that when you are finished get the hell out so they don’t lose money. They have just lost very good customers and the ones we brought with us will never go back either.
