They have a great chef and everyone loved the food for a wedding welcome dinner. The manager was not a good experience. Doesn’t answer the phone, blew off the prep call she scheduled, showed up late for delivery without calling, and decided to cut out the item from my menu I had been most excited about.

Really unfortunate they ghosted us. We were looking forward to setting up a tasting for our wedding in June 2024. Got through the initial quote and we replied within a week with a few requests to update the menu to get within our budget (this was in early/mid-September). Since, we have never heard back. We were working with their employee, Tepi. We have emailed, called, and left voicemail to no response from Laurrapin. Complete silence.I would be extremely cautious with this company. We are a LGBTQ couple and we don’t believe they knew that until our phone call, which may have been the cause for the ghosting. LGBTQ couples may be an issue with Laurrapin and if so, be careful. We are now struggling to find a caterer with availability on our date.0/5 Stars

We were recommended to use this company to cater my wedding so I put in an inquiry. I filled out a questionnaire and set a date for a meeting with Kylie (on a Friday). The meeting time comes up and no word from Kylie. I emailed and didn’t hear back until Monday… she said something came up. We set a new date and once again no call. I email and start calling the office and finally she calls me, saying her phones weren’t working so she couldn’t call me. I guess her email didn’t work either. But we have our meeting and give her a list of everything we’d want so she could create a quote. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Safe to say I won’t be using this company, how could I ever trust a company to cater my wedding that is so unresponsive and unreliable. I guess they don’t want more business. Be careful using them! I have read other similar reviews.

Laurrapin catered our backyard wedding last Saturday. I come from Italy and there the food standards of a wedding differ very much from the ones in the US. The Laurrapin went above and beyond to make sure that my very specific needs and requests were met. Bruce and Amy they altered their menu to fit our taste. It was amazing and we were very happy! As far as planning we have to give a special thanks to Tepi for making sure that everything would fit logistically and that everyone would be comfortable in our backyard space and for managing everything that day. The team who staffed our wedding was professional, kind and patient. We could not have asked for more!

I can't say enough about Laurrapin Catering. We held my daughters baby shower at the restaurant and everything was more than we could ask for. We opted for a brunch buffet which was amazing, our guests couldn't stop talking about how much they enjoyed the food. Amy and Teppi gave us great suggestions and were beyond helpful from the start of planning to finish! The set-up of the restaurant was perfect for our party and they even had the lights in pink since she was having a little girl. We can't thank you enough for a wonderful party!

Lauurapin caterers recently catered an event for me. I was delighted with all aspects of the day. From the initial inquiry to the post event details everyone was very helpful. The food was amazing, the planning was spot on and the staff was wonderful in all ways. They consulted with me on-site about my preferences for small details before hand and kept everything runnings smoothly and professionally. All of my guests complemented the food. But as with anything, the people make the difference and their staff did!

Everyone at our wedding raved about how delicious the food was! They loved it so much that they ate almost all of it up. The linens were beautiful and matched our colors perfectly. The day of coordinators were very kind and accommodated accordingly when the timeline did not go to schedule and dinner was pushed back. They even took matters into their own hands when the cake topper fell of the cake and they glued it back up and fixed the cake and we didn't even know until after the fact.I knock them down a star because:1. Their communication wasn't the best between overlooking the fact that we never got a taste testing and we did not have our finalized contract until 3 days before the wedding which was extremely frustrating and added last minute stress.2. They did not pack us any leftovers for dinner though we put it in our contract that we wanted that. We were very clear that we wanted to have a little bit of everything packed for us because as the bride and groom sometimes you're too excited/nervous to eat (which I was) and we wanted to be able to enjoy some of our food the next day when things were calm. We were promised that things would be packed for us; a lady even came, took my plate, asked if I wanted it packed and I said yes but we never got it. Came home the next day to find out that none of the dinner was packed for us which was extremely disappointing. We did get to enjoy some hors d'oeuvres and petite desserts which were awesome.Overall we were happy but the few problems we ran into could have been avoided.*Photos by Southern Shutter Photography*

We've enjoyed catering from Laurrapin multiple times and it's always terrific.

Laurrapin was recommended to us by our wedding venue, and they were phenomenal to work with. Obviously weddings are in full swing; Tepi and crew didn’t miss a beat or mess up a detail from the tasting to the actual wedding yesterday. The staff was not only professional, but they actually took time to ask me and my husband how we met which may not seem like a big deal, but it just shows they were truly engaged in the event. The food was awesome, the servers and bartenders were on point. Thank you Laurrapin crew. We love you! -The Espinosas

I recently hired the Laurrapin Caters for my daughter's bridal shower and they did an AMAZING job. From the start of the planning until the day of, Tepi & Amy were great to work with including the staff the day of. They went out of their way to make sure my event was perfect. Amy even came through when we had a snag with our coffee maker. The presentation of the apps & desserts was beautiful. Amy found a mold of a picture I showed her to create a charcuterie board out of the word MRS (see photo). It came out better than my expectations. The guests raved about the meals. I would hire them without hesitation for future events. I can't thank them enough.

Laurrapin Caters were recommended to me from another cater and I'm so glad they did. We had an association summer meeting at our farm over two days. They were on time for both my Friday night event and our Saturday lunch. The staff was professional in every way. The food was excellent and plenty for everyone. We had 50 people at our event on a Friday night with a bartender provided by Laurrapin and every detail was taken care of. Saturday we had 85 for lunch again the food was excellent. After they left everything was cleaned and you would not have they had been there. I would recommend Laurrapin for your next event.

We just had our Baby Gras there at the event venue for our first baby (a Mardi Gras themed baby shower) and they made it such a special experience! The venue itself was naturally absolutely perfect for our theme but we also were able to tailor the menu for Cajun and Creole food and it was fabulous too (only wish I snagged some pics of it but we all couldn't wait to eat it!)! The event planning was very easy and flexible with our budget, theme, and event type, and the event staffers were absolutely wonderful, polite, and kept everything running smoothly. The event space and layout were perfect with plenty of room for dining and opening gifts, and we were so thrilled with the result. I hope to have other events here in the future and am so happy with our all-in-one catered event and venue experience. Highly, highly recommend them!
