MacGregor’s in Havre de Grace is always a great spot for food and drinks, but Mason took our visit to the next level. Not only did he deliver top-notch service, but he also doubled as a professional bee wrangler. Seriously—this man was saving bees and saving customers from stings at the same time. Talk about multitasking! Amazing food, amazing views, and apparently a superhero on staff. Ask for Mason—you’ll be in good hands (and sting-free).

Are fries were extremely hot. While we appreciate the freshness they were dangerous. The burgers were a delicious mess, and the brussel sprouts were fantastic! The view and vibes were wonderful and staff was friendly 🙂

Great service. Our waitress was a pleasure.
Food is tasty but the small portions leave you wanting more. 6 wings for $14. Large selection of beers and cocktails.
Nice deck with a view of the river.

Used MacGregor's catering for a surprise 40th birthday party at Le Banque and the staff did an incredible job! Cristan went above and beyond in helping to ensure everyone was fed and happy over the course of the evening. The venue looked incredible and we were thrilled with the outcome.

Let’s talk about the spontaneous trip to MacGergor’s a few months after Gordon left. My friend and I were famished so we decided to pop in a little after they opened. You choose in outdoor seating and the vibe was just right with the breeze off the water. Good lighting and music the bar looks well stocked. Jackie our server was soo great and attentive. We started with mocktails(coconut mojito, blackberry lime lemonade) they both hit. Next calamari a tad salty still liked them the jalapeños gave it a nice touch. I choose the rock fish tacos as my entree. They were good the mango salsa pulled it together on the warm corn tortillas. The side was chips and salsa from what tasted like Tostitos. But what out shined it all you ask……? The blueberry pie of course, it was absolutely perfect with the scoop of ice cream. It’s a great place to enjoy great service, drinks, and the rest the the desserts with friends

We held an intimate wedding reception in the Banquet Room at MacGregor’s and it was great! The room was set nicely and our guests went on and on about how wonderful the food was. Cristan and the staff were attentive, making sure that we had a nice time. I can’t say enough about how well MacGregor’s handled our event, making for a lovely and memorable celebration!
I realize Chef Ramses just came through here and helped redo the menu. I get we are on the coast. I am not fond of seafood. Nearly 75 %of the menu was seafood related. Or burgers. It was not what we were interested in at that time. We have always had good experiences, but the limited menu put us off. I am sure there may have actually been MORE non-seafood choices, and they did have Sunday Brunch. Those were not the food items we wanted at that time however. All the staff was polite, so again not an issue there.just disappointed in the selection.

My fiancé is very hard to please when it comes to food. He loved it! We came back the next night with friends and can't wait to be back again. Definitely my favorite place to eat within a 50 mile radius. So good.

Went in for some drinks. My fiancée amd I got 2 orange crushes which were the absolute worst orange crushes we've ever had. Tasted like straight orange juice out of my refrigerator. We were the only people in the place so you would think they would be able to make some good drinks. Also got tbe crab dip which was nothing but cheese. It's evident even Gordon Ramsey couldn't fix this place. Will never be back again.

We sat in the pub part and our server was very nice. (Though I think she was over-worked and could've used some help.) Atmosphere was nice and pretty standard. My peach sangria was delicious. But the mussels I got as an appetizer were NOT fresh. I couldn't even finish them because I was worried I'd get food poisoning. My rockfish tacos were gross too. The fish was WAY overcooked and had no seasoning or taste to it at all. I was really bummed by the food. I have a friend who's vacationing there next week and I already told her to avoid this place. That it's okay for drinks and maybe a simple appetizer, but the entrees were overcooked, tasteless, and overpriced. I will avoid this place the next time we're in town.

It was a very pleasant dinner on a quiet Sunday. The food is as good as the views and they did a great job. The service was fantastic and quick and we left with a very good experience. The tavern area is cute and has very nice ambience!
