This staple of Havre de Grace is soon to close for good. We will return for a final meal. Lou, you will be missed.

O my goodness, this is the best crab cake I have ever eaten. The rest of the food was excellent as well. Would love to go back some day

This was the worst seafood sampler I’ve ever had in my life. Bland and gross. The only reason I gave it two stars was because the cream of crab soup was good and the staff was nice. We were there for an early dinner but still, I think I know why the only other people in there we’re elderly - because they can’t taste as well!

Place was slow yet took several minutes for waiter to greet us. He was busy talking with a group of servers. The waiter was friendly and nicebut not trained well. He didn't know what a loaded baked potato was and brought my salad out with my dinner a ameture mistake. I ordered the crab stuffed mushrooms. Very greasey and small not worth the $20 for 4 .Broiled scallops were very good cooked perfect. Most disturbing was the black mold all over the ceiling tiles in mens bathroom. Just no excuse for that . That's why 3 stars.

We returned to the Bayou after 18 months of Covid precautions and it was wonderful! Although I usually get seafood or other items, I tried the flank steak. It was perfectly cooked, tender and delicious. My dining partner said he had some of the best fried oyster that he had ever tasted. We shared a bottle of wine and celebrated a great night out! Our server was attentive, but not overly so. The portions were very large. Overall a great time and well worth it!

A diverse menu and everything was great. A+ on the coconut shrimp, crab cake and orange roughy. Sides were perfect complements. Service was exceptional, despite our arriving at closing time. We now plan to make this a regular dinner stop Highly recommend!
Worst meal I’ve had in a long time.Food was bland, tasteless, and expensive. The chef has no idea what he or she is doing. No flavor in anything except the crab cakes which were probably made by someone outside the kitchen. Outdated menu and decor. This place desperately needs a visit from Robert Irvine or Gordon Ramsey.
