I ordered the French Onion soup and in my opinion it was average. I try French Onion soup every where I go so maybe I’m spoiled.
I also ordered a salad that I thought was a 3 1/2 out of 5..
The service was excellent!! The atmosphere was very nice.

What an underwhelming experience. When we arrived, the front of house was nowhere to be found. When someone appeared, we were told it would be a ten minute wait. I waited at the bar for at least ten minutes with the bartender passing once saying she’d be right back. She wasn’t.

We were seated next to a table with four people in chairs and another six or more gathered around, all talking loudly. My wife and I could barely hear one another. We asked the waitstaff if we could move one table over. She reacted like we were asking her to donate a kidney

The new table wasn’t quite as loud, but more bar than dining room in atmosphere. The 1970s dinette set chairs and tables weren’t particularly comfortable, but this restaurant really stopped trying on decor years ago.

The food was disappointing. The cream of crab soup was claw, not lump, but was reasonably priced. The shrimp salad was watery. The worst dish by far was the crab bruschetta. There were about five small bits of crab, ice cold tomatoes, and a flat bread the size of a spare tire. The dish was bland and clumsy. To her credit, the manager took it off the bill.

We don’t mind paying for good food and great service. We don’t like overpaying for mediocre food because there is a view you can get from 100s of other places on the Bay Area

This restaurant has such potential, given its location directly on the water. Unfortunately, the building and its contents are quite dated. We sat in the enclosed porch. It was cold; even the old wooden chairs were cold to sit on. Added to that, it is in dire need of a thorough cleaning and paint job.
The food was just...meh. The bagged oyster crackers were stale.
The only positive aspect was the service. The waitress (? Crystal) was attentive but not overly so. The food arrived within a reasonable amount of time.

Night out with the girls before seeing Santa's Christmas circus at Star Center Stage show. There was a Power House Sandwich on the menu and it was delicious 😋. It brought back memories from a deli in Towson MD that served those sandwiches and the only difference was Towson Deli used Munster cheese, still very good!

Hearty, tasty food at this serene, offbeat, enjoyable riverside spot. Large beer selection, old school plates. Delicious crab cakes. Satiable veggies. Down to earth service. Memorable decor and details. Authentic vibes. Easy parking. Definitely go.

We had a reservation this past Saturday for our group to eat here as part of celebrating my sister getting married. The attitude of the staff was completely uncalled for. They were all rude, especially the bartender. They couldn’t be bothered. We actually asked if they would rather us leave because it was so unwelcoming. Our waiter, Austin, however, was fantastic. He went above and beyond. At first I was shocked at how little customers were at the restaurant. It was prime dinner time, at a seafood place on the water… on a SATURDAY night and it was DEAD in there. But quickly I learned why… the attitude of this staff is piss poor. Would not recommend and definitely will not be returning.

Great food and drinks at Tidewater Grille. The Crab Bruschetta flatbread was tasty as well as Brussels sprouts. We really liked the view and location. Unfortunately the service was slow and the servers passed our table 5-6 times before we flagged them down asking who our server was to place our order. They were no more than a quarter full so no reason to not keep tabs of who was assigned what tables. Once we were served, we were satisfied with the food and will come back.
