Great local pub. Food was very fresh and beer was local and on tap. The pretzels really impressed me.

Friendly service and great food! Our bartender was super sweet and took great care of us. Staff answered all of our menu questions with ease. My boyfriend loved the pierogi! Kind of a hole in the wall and out of our way, but we'll definitely make the trip every once in a while.

Hidden Gem (or it was for us)! So glad we stumbled upon this awesome place after a baseball game at Schooley Milk Park via Google search for 'food near me'. I'd heard good things about this local restaurant/pub and it was even better. All fantastic!

We had dinner here on Saturday evening. The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. It was our first visit but we will return.
We went to Highland Local for the first time, and wasn't disappointed! Jen provided us a great experience with recommendations for those that needed them. No one at the table had a bad thing to say about the food as we rubbed our bellies leaving.
Turns out Jen with one n (😂) is the owner. She shared the story of her ownership run, it was interesting. Check it out, and we will be back!!!
What did we have?
Crispy Brussels Sprouts
Crispy Chicken Wings (Honey Old Bay & BBQ)
Chicken Nachos
Onion Rings
Mozzarella Sticks
Fish & Chips w/ Rosemary Garlic Fries
Beer Brined Chicken Sandwich
Robert's Burger w/ Tater Tots
Classic Grilled Cheese
And adult cocktails
Great place to hang out. Food comes out fast and delicious. Owner is has an awesome personality. Wings are my go too and prices are fair.
Friendly staff. Warm cozy atmosphere. Most importantly the food was good! I loved the brussel sprouts and cod! Definitely will visit again!
I really wanted to try this place since it’s Locally owned. The food was not great, We tried two different burgers, Both overcooked. Also for the price of the burger I would expect a fresh ground beef patty versus a frozen puck (Which we got). The onion rings Were the highlight of the meal. Also got the pretzel, it’s really more like a roll with brushed with butter and everything bagel seasoning. service was ok, only one person running the bar and all the tables in the place, we got Silverware and napkins after we ate our appetizer, he tried just seamed over worked. For the money and Quality food I won’t be back.
I’ve got nothing bad to say!
I got the wings w/ the 24k sauce. What most impressed me? The wings were done evenly! Not a single wing was undercooked or over cooked. They were just right. 24k sauce was nice, described as buffalo meets Carolina barbecue. Also tried the honey old bay, both flavors were worth getting again. Price was steep, but wings are $$ right now.
Service was great, we were one of only a few in there and he handled our large group really well.
Definitely would visit again if I’m in town.

We dined when they were having $12 burger and fries special. The burgers were great, the rosemary fries were also amazing. Our waitress seemed to be the only one serving the bar and dining area but still gave us great service. She also was very kind in catering to the four toddlers in our party!
Good food and beer selection. Great service. No kids menu, but had food that the kids liked (burgers, quesadilla, grilled cheese). Will be back!
Good local woman-owned pub. Food came out in reasonable amount of time and was cooked to order. Nice selection of beers.
Great place for craft beer and good food
