I visited this place for the first time because I wanted something Hispanic to eat. The waiter was very friendly, polite and professional. I didn't like the food at all (I ordered a Salvadoran cake and it was terrible), a baleada that had lettuce but no avocado, beans, egg which is what they normally bring, I asked for a coffee and they didn't have it in the coffee maker, they had to make one instant and was super charged 😩. Very good place where you can buy many Hispanic things. I like to buy bread here very often but on several occasions I have found that there is a lack of delicacy with the food. On some occasions I have eaten sweet bread with egg shells but this time I ate a hair in my bread and perhaps I will not stop buying here but it is a note to the owner that he makes more efforts to ensure that the food is treated with the care that must be.
After seeing the reviews and of course being a true West Coast Mexican, I know what authentic Mexican sweet bread it's supposed to taste like. Sadly, their choices were very few and it looked like the bread was beginning to get stale. The taste was ok, I've had better from a panaderia in Tacoma Park. I'm not sure why it was so highly rated. Maybe the quality declined? I hope they can improve, I drove a nice little way to try it.
