Sun Bim African Carribean & American Cuisine

I have been a customer for years. Since they opened. All of my children including my 3 & 6 year olds enjoy their food. They are always welcoming and nice.

The place is a little run down but for the most part, the food is cooked with love. And the man is very nice. It takes a while, but it's worth it.

Really mad and disappointed. And I never got treated bad there always nice and welcoming. But I guess when you say something wrong with the food it’s a problem. I got goat peanut butter stew. Opened it up 3 big pieces and a lil one with all bone no meat. I then called to ask how many come in there he said six depending on sizes I told him I had 3 big ones and a lil one he said WOMEN I COUNTED MYSELF I PUT 6!! At that point I’m not arguing with this man who raised his voice and I paid $30 cause I got a side of jollof rice too. Smh this was my worst food from there everything normal is so good. But that customer service really has to get better. Wasted $30 to just eat the rice 🙄 I JUST SAID ILL WRITE A REVIEW IM NOT YELLING ON THIS PHONE.

The flavors were bland in my opinion. In fairness, it was my first time eating African food so I’ll need to try it again somewhere else just to be sure. The wait was 30 minutes. You’re definitely going to want to use a credit card to purchase your food because the register had no change. I simply ended up giving the store a tip… and the atmosphere is less than inviting. The customer service was good as the staff were friendly.

The egusi soup and fufu is the only dish that I have gotten from there. But the owners are very kind, hospitable, and courteous. I love love love the egusi. The consistency of the quality of the food is top tier.

Sun Bim African has the best Cassava Leaves and Jollof Rice in the area. If you love African Carribean food...check them out! Everyone is very friendly and will take the time to explain any dish if you are having an event and need catering let Sun Bim get it done for you

This food is sooooo good !! The jollof rice is the best I’ve ever had! First I tried it with goat and then fish and now chicken with the efo riro !! soo good!! This is day 3 and I’m addicted . Will keep coming back !!

The Worse African Food I Ever Had !!!!! I hate To do this. I hate to use the word hate. They do not represent my culture when it comes to food. The casava taste like paprika. The chicken taste like water. Never go here. It smells. Nothing works. She came from the back wiping her nose. They didn’t have have for 100$ …wow man. Salute Africa But this not it

Love going there. Not to many people and I love the atmosphere of the restaurant as well as the food . I used to order in delivery apps and you can't trust them with this good of quality food. So I go on my own account.
