First sign this place was terrible was the fact that I had to wait 20-25 mins for the waiter to take my order. Second was the fact that the waiter was insisting I buy the combo rather than just the chicken kabob which was significantly more expensive. Opted for the chicken and beef kabob which was $30. Also the fact that a "exotic" drink cost $15 is ridiculously over priced. Third was how bad the quality of food was, salad was disgusting and soup was cold. Fourth how long it took for the kabob to come out. Waited around playing with my cold soup. Fifth was how small the portion size was. Portion size is ridiculously small 3 small pieces of chicken and 3 small pieces of beef for $30. Me and my friend thought this was a joke paying $30 for 6 tiny pieces of meat with mediocre rice. This place is a joke and I hope it goes out of business. I rarely write reviews but when I do its for good reason this place is awful. Service was awful, food was awful, and the smell of the restaurant was awful.

One of the best halal food places I have ever been. A lot of choices of authentic Mediterranean foods here. I had a mix kabob platter and loved it. Definitely will come again to try their lamb mansaf next time.

The staff and service was great. I have no complaints about that at all. The food was good, not great, but good. I’m Indian… I’ve had Indian food all over the US, UK and India just for context. Their prices on the other hand… $31.99 for butter chicken is daylight robbery. Bollywood Masala… just down the street… charges $16.95 and for a much bigger serving. Another Indian restaurant I really like in Alexandria charges $16.99, and that’s more upscale than Kabob Kingdom. The kabobs.. $17.99 and there was a rather skinny drumstick and a wing, that’s it. Like I said… the staff were great, and the service too… but we won’t be back.

Don't miss it! It's off of Three Notch Road in Hollywood. Kabob Kingdom has some flags outside that caught my attention and I pulled in. So glad I did! I am stuffed and so satisfied. The Owner Rifz was super nice and very attentive. I highly recommend either the goat korma or the house lentils. Just feels like a homemade meal from mama's. Price is worth the portions. Kabob Kingdom serves Halal meat; which is great because I usually have to drive to Virginia for Halal. This is my new favorite spot. Very clean and peaceful here. Definitely leaving a tip and coming back soon!

We are not huge middle east or indian food buffs but we enjoy a good curry and Butter chicken. This place rocks the food was great the portions were good and we left with a smile on our face. Fantastic service and meal. Most recomended.

Had lunch here on a rainy Saturday. Oh the flavors! They make everything, down to the little onion crispies on the rice. The house soup with naan would make a great lunch by itself. We also had a sampler appetizer plate, butter chicken, tandoori chicken and a dessert. Staff is very helpful with suggestions. The food was fantastic! Yes, it is a bit more expensive, but for freshly cooked middle eastern food, worth every penny.

Expensive for limited food. 3 small chunks of meat with the meal I also went on opening week when standards should be highest. Lack of flavor and a container filled with disappointment. I hope they see this and make changes because I would love to support one day.

Definitely recommend! My husband and I had a great meal and a wonderful experience. After not being able to travel the past two years, the flavors and hospitality made us feel like we were on holiday again. We had the hummus plate, the chicken curry, butter chicken and the lamb korma. Everything was delicious!

Two for two on great meals, cooked from scratch. The rice is phenomenal (you can see the cinnamon and cloves the use to make it). Kabobs have a respectable char from the grill, but are still tender. (Bone In Chicken) Curry is spicy, but not overpowering (I'd rank it "jalapeno" level). Corn chowder could be at home in any crab shack in SoMD (I say that as a positive). Pricey for sure, but well worth it.

Stellar! The people were very kind and were incredibly happy to see our satisfaction and joy. The food was fantastic. We ordered the king mackerel and the lamb chops and i have never had fish as good as that from the way it was prepared. The owner explained the dishes as they came out and again, was very friendly and hospitable. Amazing experience and I will certainly recommend it to my friends who are in search for a fancy restaurant meal.

This is the sort of place Southern Maryland needs more of - too many Panda Expresses and Olive Garden's around here. The Kabob has a REAL international flair, personalized table service, and crafted foods. I was surprised here - you'd have to travel to DC or Baltimore to find anything even remotely of this sort. It's a clever amalgam of Persian, Indian, and Mediterranean dishes. We ordered the King Mackerel, and the Lamb Chops. Began with a wonderful appetizer of mushroom and chick pea soup, and ended with a spritely dessert of donut balls swimming in honey, walnuts and pistachios. Great experience. Recommend to all, and wish the owner the best.

I've seen some reviews concerned about the cost of the food here. Sure, you might pay for for food that is 100% Halal, but you won't regret it. This place is worth every penny! The spicing across the board was perfect and the hummus was the best I've had since I've been in the ME. We are already looking forward to our next visit so we can sample more of the menu. The owner was friendly, approachable, and the restaurant was very clean and had wonderful atmosphere.Highly recommended, one of the best spots in SOMD.

Very pleasant place. Very nice staff. We placed our order and sat down and they brought us out a complimentary soup which was delicious. A few folks coming in for carryout but otherwise we were the only ones dining in. One thing I really noticed is that typically the kabob places give you naan as part of the meal, here you pay extra for it. Also there is usually a vegetable to go on the rice. Not here. We both ordered the lamb shish. Everything was very tasty though and we will probably be back.

Amazing service! Cash was our server and was especially charming and friendly. If he offers you the tea....take the tea. Its the best tea I've ever had. The kabobs were amazing...although a bit over priced (only reason it's 4 stars and not 5). I would definitely eat there again.
