One of our favorite restaurants we enjoy getting back to time and again. The food is always fantastic, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. Beautiful views of the water.
My wife ordered the filet mignon and it came out and we were shocked at how small it was - barely 4 ounces. Jumbo stuffed shrimp with crab imperial, here’s what was wrong….. 3 small shrimp undercooked and just average crab imperial. French fries came out of a frozen bag. You would expect better from this type of restaurant. Finally, $17 Old Fashioned - bartender needs a lesson on how to make a good one. Giving this place 3 stars based on average food but nice atmosphere.
Recommended by local in Cambridge, MD Great food, great atmosphere Yes it is out of the way, but well worth the drive Lots of room, very friendly and attentive staff Paddle wheel trips can be taken here
Had a nice table outside and drinks were good. We ordered 2 appetizers and only one was delivered. I ordered the special of Oysters 5 ways it was terrible! Oyster stew was paste with Oysters that looked like they used the immersion blender to mix...chopped up and thick. It also had Two of each, steamed (cold, served with grease that supposed to be butter) Rockefeller was tasteless and mushy, Suicide Oysters were over cooked and burned, fried oysters were the size of dimes..I have NEVER had Oysters that small. The waitress asked how it.was and I told her it was not what I expected from a seafood restaurant. Her answer was ."Its hit or miss" really?? The Tuna Bites appetizers was delicious however, my friend ordered a chicken ceaser salad. We waited 10 minutes for the waitress to tell us the cook forgot to cook the chicken. We canceled the order. Might be a great place for drinks but would not recommend dinner.
My husband and I enjoyed the cream of crab soup but that was it. The fried shrimp and oysters would never be our choice again. The soft crab nuggets needed more flavor. The waitresses were fantastic. One was Blair. The kitchen needs a better culinary menu.
not too sure about the restaurant itself, but the dinner on the cruise sucked. all the food was cold and the prime rib we ordered was not cooked the way we wanted. Cruise itself is nice but we have to cruise 3 hours with no dinner. very unhappy.
We reserved the crabfest cruise and didn't know what to expect. However, the staff and experience exceeded our expectations. The food was fresh and the crab was unlimited. The staff catered to our every need and we are already planning another trip. Recommend 100%
excellent meal again tonight, waitress was the best, wish I'd have gotten her name
absolutely amazing experience love the atmosphere of the boat. We went on the crab feast cruise and it was absolutely amazing. Crabs were tasty. Beautiful views definitely will do it again.
A leisurely trip down the Choptank River on a summer day, with cool river breezes and punctuated by a real Eastern Shore crab feast, on the riverboat Dorothy - Megan, from Suicide Bridge to Cambridge, can't be beat. We go several times a year and it is always a great experience. Yesterday was no exception!!!

Staff were very hospitable. We were happy with our crabs and crab soup. The rest of the food was ok and we ate it. The whole experience was good all-around and we would definitely go again.
We’ve done this ayce crab cruise a few times now. On this particular trip, the crabs were subpar. The first half on the cruise, the crabs were very small, not warm and either overcooked/reheats or sitting too long after cooking. At the turn around in Cambridge, we picked up more crabs. These were definitely fresher and mostly cooked properly, but still very small. The rest of the sides and chicken were fine. The service wasn’t that good. Initially the waitresses were attentive but that dropped off midway thru. Most of the time there was only one and sometimes no one there to serve. The cruise itself was relaxing. It was a hot day and the a/c was working perfectly. We notified the staff during booking and while boarding that it was my daughter’s birthday, but other than one or two “happy birthdays” nothing else special was done. Nothing was offered and nothing was really expected, but a candle in her desert would have been nice. I’ve had much better experiences on this voyage previously, so I’m not sure why it’s not that good anymore.
we took the 3 hour crab cruise and it was spectacular! Everything was delicious and the crabs were big and heavy! Cole Slaw, crab soup, fried chicken, corn and crabs all on the menu. Crew and staff were friendly and very helpful will do it again!
My friends and I had a great time, fellowshiping with each other. Food and crabs were hot and tasty.😋 Met some new people and enjoyed the boat ride. Staff was excellent!! We will definitely return!
