Definitely a Hidden gem in the southern Maryland area. Since moving to the small town of Indianhead, I frequent this establishment quite often. The staff is always friendly, and I truly love trying out the "mystery lattes ". The owner is absolutely amazing, and is most helpful.

I have been here a few times, but this time the coffee and biscuit made me feel pretty ill afterward. The coffee was one of the ones listed on the menu, and it wasn't very good. So sweet and did not even taste like coffee. The prices are very high for what you get, especially since I ended up throwing away the coffee and biscuit. I ended up going home and making my own coffee due to the poor quality I received.

Clarity Coffee House is a diamond in a tree patch. The facilities is always clean, well managed, and effectively staffed. The pastries are home made and delightful. And the coffee is alone worth the drive.Recommendations:-Always order the pastry coming out of the oven… you’ll never be disappointed!-Be adventurous and order the ‘Mystery Latte’. It’s a concoction masterminded from the barista working the pipes… and is always ALWAYS a sip from heaven.

I've seen this place a couple times and figured I'd give it a try. I will assume that my not so great experience was due to the fact that I came about 25 mins before close. The lady at the counter informed me that they turn off their panini press 30 mins before closing to let it cool down.I ordered the cinnamon roll frappe, she told me it was the sweetest. Now I'm not sure if she was just saying that or if it was because the other person who actually made it seemed new and maybe didn't make it right. It wasn't very sweet and I didn't get cinnamon roll from this . My son ordered the vanilla mocha frappe decaf and he enjoyed it. My daughter also tried the mango smoothie and she liked that. The lady told me they could do the biscuits or wraps (I think) because it didn't require the panini press. I got the bacon cheddar biscuit, which was microwaved. I did not expect that, not a fan of microwaved bread products, the taste was good otherwise. My son ordered a panini, we were going to take it home to warm it but he was hungry and asked to microwave it. Honestly think she left it in there way too long but he said the taste of it was good just soggy bread. I saw they have bakery items but they had already been pulled from the case. The little shop is nice though and they had games and books in the back where the seating area is. I'd give it another try, earlier in the day to get the full experience because there was a salmon panini that sounded very good.

Stopped here on a whim on my way to Indian Head as I was craving coffee and this looked like a cute local café. My gut wasn't wrong - the young lady made me one of the best flat whites I've ever had! And the raspberry coffee cake was heavenly. It was nice to cool off in the back before I went out to the heat of the day again. I don't know if I'll be back in this area, but if I am, I'll definitely stop here again :)

My wife and I love traveling to this coffee house instead of your big brand coffee houses. Fresh baked brownies and cookies are amazing.

They are a little more expensive than other places but good. I always order the Latin latte but swap hazelnut for caramel. You're welcome!

Today was our first visit but it definitely won't be our last! My husband and I decided to try out Clarity Coffee House on the recommendation of friends who had just visited there. We dined on a croissant sandwich and a chicken wrap panini. Kate was our barista and she was so helpful in explaining the standard menu as well as the other daily options. The London Fog tea was brewed at the perfect temperature and the lavender taste was so relaxing. Thank you Kate and Alex for a wonderful first experience. Looking forward to our next visit !
