Chicken was 100% made in an oven no smoke or bbq flavor. The ribs were meaty but tasted like they used way too much liquid smoke or dirty smoke while cooking them. I’ve made much better bbq in the back yard.

For many years Dale's has been my favorite place for bbq. We moved to St. Marys so it has been a while since our last visit. For Mother's day, I really wanted a sliced pork meal from Dale's so we made the hour drive only to be very disappointed. Let me say that the service is always great. The employees are friendly and welcoming. The sauce is still amazing. My sides were so over spiced that I couldn't even eat them. My green beans were so full of pepper and red pepper flakes that just 1 bite had my mouth on fire. Their Mac and cheese was the exact same way. When they started putting red pepper in their Mac and cheese I don't know but it's terrible and I wish they would go back to the original recipe. Very disappointing and a waste of a drive for food I couldn't even eat.

Everything here is incredible. I have been everywhere trying to find ribs as good as these, but no luck. Chicken is also delicious. The seasoning used is fantastic. All sides are the bomb, especially mac and cheese and potato salad. Servings are large and always have leftovers. The place is immaculate, and the owners are lovely people who take pride in cooking.

Be careful. Food is good! But if you get it to go they use incorrect lids for the sauces. If one tips over it goes everywhere. They don't even warn you. And the pile on the sides in the dinner plates(which is good) but it over flows into everything else in the to go plate. Just put it in another container if you want to give so much. And use the right lid!!!

Best BBQ in town. Very friendly staff even when they are short staff. Prices matches the amount of food. Always have the softest bread. Try it and you'll see that's the only place to go for your BBQ !!!Parking: Lots of spot for the size of lot.

I came here while driving by and I need lunch and figure this was as good of a place as any to stop in. I love barbeque so figured it would be a good stop. When I parked I think I was the only non pick up truck in the lot, take that as you will. When I walked the place was mostly empty except for one table in the back that was completely full of some dude just sitting around eating. It almost looked like they where having a meeting of some sort and they paused their conversation when I walked in. It was odd. The staff here was pretty nice. Having never been here before I wasn't sure what to order and they didn't seem to rush me. I ended up ordering ribs and she told me since I was sitting down they had all 3 of their sauces at the table. They ribs came out pretty quick and they where all okay. Not the best ribs I have every had not the worst. I thought the sauces where good I rotated which ones I was trying. All in all I thought this place was okay. I don't think I would go out of my way to stop here but if I was passing by and needed some food I don't think I would pass it up.
