Shout out to the Chef!!!! Everything is Delicious! The Rice and Peas, Cabbage, Plantains, Oxtails, and Curry chicken was EXCELLENT!!

This place is nice and clean I will say that but let’s get to the deal of my review. The food is not hitting at all only your pockets getting hit. They are overpriced for no Damm reason no lunch specials and slow. Being from my beautiful country of Jamaica I know what authentic dishes should taste like and this ain’t it. Here’s a tip : go somewhere else real authentic Jamaican dishes all have a unique taste. If you ever go to a Jamaican restaurant and your order includes and chicken pieces and they can be clearly identified as a leg , wing or breast get your money back because that is not how prepared dishes is taught back home in Jamaica. Chicken should be chopped up and seasoned so good it just melts in your mouth and no dishes no matter where they come from should be served with an attitude especially when you’re spending your money with them. I despise when I support any business and it’s just dung. Not everyone from Jamaica is chef and enough times I to support my Caribbean restaurants and be disappointed in the quality of the food and then paid a ridiculous price that does piss one off. So massive start holding’s these restaurants accountable for quality and quantity it will help them to do better. To each their own when it comes to a review but I am curious to know just how many of these reviews are from folks that say the food is good are actually West Indian and know what it should taste like cause something is not adding up. I will never return to Carib Express for any Caribbean dishes. For the review I ordered $ 19 brown stew and to have brown being in the name wasn’t even there.$7 for a mango drink and no dam mango wth. Nope never again. I called them and told them the same things I said in this review and they didn’t even care. So be warned dine here at your own risk and bring your ATM machine with you.

Disappointing change in flavor! I used to adore Caribe Express at their Laurel location, but the shift to their new Jessup spot seems to have altered the taste and quality of their food. Sadly, the flavors I once loved are no longer consistent. However, amidst this change, I must commend their beef patties; they've remained consistently fresh, hot, and delicious. It's disheartening that the overall food experience isn't as enjoyable anymore. I loved their oxtails but it’s just not as flavorful anymore and this place is quite expensive.

nicely appointed. larger than the main street location4 stars for really well made and delicious food 3 stars for the skimpy portion of curry goat fot $19.99. It was like paying $20 for a bowl of rice n peas. I appreciate that meat like goat and oxtail are expensive. It's well known that they both are full of bones and not much meat so if serving customers these dishes at least take that into account and serve a decent portion so maybe they'll get a proper serving of meat. To make it worse was the small serving of vegetables and plantain. I actually think if those were adequate maybe it would not have been so disappointing. Makes me sad because the food had really good flavor.

I meant to take a photo but it was so good I forgot. The patties are insanely good. The right level of spice and rich in flavor. Vegan options are available and portion size is solid. Did get a red velvet cupcake and you should too.

They ladies can cook! I tried the curried goat with rice and peas, and the beef patties. Food was savory, tender, and full of homemade flavors. I absolutely love this and was satisfied after a long trip. They also had homemade juices such as sorrel, and mango passion. The restaurant is very clean and front desk was warm and welcoming. Would definitely come again.

I've been to alot of Jamaican restaurants, and the curry chicken here was not good at all charged me 4.00 for white meat. I got home and open the containerA half of a breast cut in half. No curry juice at all. No potatoes or anything. It was not juicy at all. Would not recommend. The beef pattie and coco bread was on point.

As a Jamaican it’s hard to find good restaurants around the area with good authentic Jamaican food. This place has it, clean, they give you a good amount, and the container is always hot so it’s warm when you get home. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to try good

Oxtail inflation is real ?. But we have to understand oxtails are a delicacy and the price is well worth the taste when cooked right. And quite frankly CaribeExpress is cooking them all the way right. High quality oxtails made with broad beans in a spicy sauce. Authentic rice and pegion peas, crunchy cabbage and callaloo make for an above average take out Caribbean dinner.

I love this place! Their food is great, but here lately the Brown Stew Chicken is WAY over cooked to the point of dryness. It wasn’t like that before. Please go back to the old method because this is inedible. I thought it was a one off, but it’s been twice now.

I called n for a pickup and was rush of the phone. I mentioned several times I wanted extra sauce for my curry and stewed chicken. I also mentioned I did not want all that rice I received before and more vegetables. When I got there I opened up my dish and saw there was no extra sauce which they added. But when I got back to work I again had a whole bowl of rice and a little spoon of vegetables. I tried this place again cause I didn’t explain how I like my order the first time. But after explaining and still getting the same result I will not be going back. Also, my plantains were very dry.
