Had an amazing dinner here tonight with my friend Keith. Beautiful view. The mussels were so plump and delicious. I had the Red Snapper Vera Cruz, and it was the best fish dish I’ve ever had I. Harford County. Keith had the ribs and crab cake. They were equally delicious. We will definitely be returning.

Steak was under cooked. Requested medium well received medium rare twice. Manager was apologetic, accommodating and generous, comping the steak and offering free desserts (declined). Atmosphere was quiet with a beautiful view. Waitress was friendly but never checked back to see if we wanted another drink.

My wife and I wish to thank Mountain Branch for truly ruining our planned Easter Sunday Dinner. Having made reservation s for 2 PM, when we arrived we were to me seated at an exceptionally small table directly in the path of the servers and against a stone wall near the fireplace. We told the Hostess this was unacceptable and she informed us that we shouyld have been told when making reservations that this would be the table. We were not. When we asked to speak to the Manager, looking for an exception, we were told that was not possible due to the busy nature of the restaurant. While acknowledging that it was, indeed, busy, we were not offered any type of accomodation. Therefore, a beautiful Easter Sunday we had been looking forward to for weeks was destroyed and we left in diappointment and, frankly disconcerted.

The Stuffed Shrimp dinner was the best I have ever had. Price was very reasonable compare to other restaurants. Happy price for wine was fantastic too!

We had a great meal and the service was perfect. We had Brussel sprouts for appetizers, outstanding! For entrees we had short rib tortellini, salmon and seared tuna. Each meal was cooked to perfection. To end the night we shared a gelato ball dessert. Highly recommended this restaurant!!!

Great service as always-opted for brunch with plenty of options. Food is consistently well prepared and flavorful. Recommended!

The char grilled oysters appetizer were outstanding! (Even got a pearl) The almond encrusted grouper was amazing as well. Cooked to perfection. I was hoping for a more interesting rice pilaf other than just white rice though. The Chicken Chesapeake was incredible as well. Grilled chicken breast with a full crab cake on top. Delicious!!

Normally everything is great. Last night I ordered a filet medium and it came out well done. My wife ordered a baked potato with her meal and it was cold. There was a large party and the restaurant was a little busy. Need to pay attention to cook times and bring out hot and filet cooked properly.

It was a perfect experience. Food was delicious and our waitress was amazing. Entire evening was wonderful.

What we (the three of us) did not like was the fact that we wanted some rolls or bread served and asked three times to the waitress. After our food arrived we asked again. What was brought out to us were 2 burned rolls for the three of us. Considering the price of the food, I am sure the management can supply rolls.

Thanksgivng buffet had dry turkey and cod, gelatinous stuffing, and tasteless vegetables. Won't try this again. Have had good food previously.

I want to like this place so bad... and I have been multiple times. Multiple times.prior to writing this, because I dont like to leave a negative review... everyone has a bad day... but well sorry, here ya go. If you don't break your ankle on the sidewalk going in between broken rocks and a mat thrown on top...then... upon entering the front doors you are greeted with a smell of bathroom cleaner its disgusting and over powering bad smell..... which might be okay... except the bathrooms are not clean..not even close... if you are wondering why the bathrooms are not clean... look into the open??? What is supposed to be a coat closet... to see where everything under the sun is thrown in there... or maybe its a rubbish room? If so hide it from the customers sight Staff... they are nice but appear to be afraid of the chef, because if you ask for something on your order to be modified... the answer more than 3 times over 3 visits is... the chef has created it without modification....idk its a crab cake and a Cesar not sure of a menu creation? Speaking of the bar... fix the beer frig which is rumbling louder than the band playing... which incidently is deafing... the bands seem great but unaware of people screaming at each other to communicate. In the post covid world I understand how hard it is to recruit and train and clean and run a business. I get it... but what is listed here are some basic operational things that are easily fixed... and have been like this consistently for over 4 months. I can't comprehend someone having a wedding here! This is not the staffs fault. Is anyone managing this place? Sorry as I said when I started the review I really want to like this place. Do better this is BASIC stuff.
