We were really excited to go here for my Mommas birthday. The place is beautiful but right away we ran into our first notable issue. There are no handicap doors. A person in a walker or wheelchair has no way to get in without someone seeing them and opening the doors and holding both sets open.Once we were seated and got our menus, we all noticed this weird substitution rule. You can't get anything other than green beans. If you want a different side you must pay additional for it!Upon getting our steaks we instantly knew they had been overcooked. When we told our server she argued that their medium rare is only a slight pink center. Our steaks were dry and hardly any pink in the middle. They were well done. For how much we paid for these slabs of meat, we expected far better!I'll be honest. For the price this place isn't worth it. I've had better steaks at Texas, Outback and Mission BBQ. They were a lot cheaper that's for sure and our meat was juicy and cooked to the perfect temp.We won't be coming back.

Originally was seated at another restaurant, but the power went out and we had a group of 20+. We called up Mountain Branch, who was more than happy to seat our big crew.Everyone agreed that things happen for a reason, and that couldn't be more true!Mountain Branch and it's staff provided a top notch experience for all of our guests (some even coming from Japan and Spain)! The food was very high quality, the scenery was cozy and beautiful overlooking the golf course, and the staff were on top of everything. You can't go wrong here, definitely add this place to your list of go-to's.

We were a party of 6. 4/6 dishes were a 8/10. The others were 5/10 rating. (1 being lowest and 10 being the best) The pistachio desert was amazing. Salads were good. Soup not so great. So thick the spoon could stand on its own. Ambiance was great. Tables and chairs could use an upgrade as they were wobbly and not sturdy. I'd come back if I had to, some in my party would not. Waitress was attentive and very nice.

I went here for Valentine's Day dinner, and it was wonderful. The food was delicious, the staff was wonderful, and our table was ready right away. I would highly recommend going here, and I can't wait to go again!

Good s lunch salads+add blackened salmon. Nice sandwiches. Excellent cream of crab soup. Good calamari but too heavy on batter. Lovely wood fire. Aroma of hickory. Super views of the golf course.
Great establishment. Very nice and attentive service. Our waiter perfectly split 10 checks with all sorts of random drinks, desserts etc spread among our group.

The four of us went to Mountain Branch for lunch and we all had a very good meal with great service. The view of the golf course was beautiful. We have gone to Mountain Branch many times over the years and have always enjoyed the meals and atmosphere there.

We had an early dinner on Saturday. The calamari with aioli dressing was excellent, & a generous portion. This is the best calamari I've found in Harford County. The lamb chops were superb. Grilled to medium rare perfection. Each of the 4 chops was a double with 2 ribs sticking out. The vegetables were the garlic mashed potatoes & steamed asparagus. Both were excellent. My wife had the short-rib tortellini. A rich flavor & a filling dish. We recommend it. We finished with the specialty of the house, the bread pudding with creme anglaise topped with whipped cream. This is superb. They're right to be proud of it. This desert is a must-have for any lover of bread pudding. The panoramic views of the golf course from the massive wall of windows is great, but keep away from the windows in the coldest months of the year--it can be chilly.Parking: Parking close to the front door. The stones in the front walkway are uneven and heavily textured.

We went the day after a snowstorm so it wasn't very crowded. They offered us Restaurant Week menu or the regular menu. We chose the Restaurant Week offerings, and everything was delicious. Our server was attentive and professional.

We reserved a table for two by the fireplace for a cold winter evening. We both had pasta dished which came with a generous and tasty portion of salad. The bread was hot and fresh. Ben was our server and did an excellent job; he was very attentive with refilling our drinks.
