Let me start off with saying the actual food, specifically the chicken, is good. The whole wings, tenders, buffalo wings always hit. The fried appetizers are somehow always over-fries, yet the fries are hit or miss, I always specify extra crispy because ironically they always get soggy way too quickly. Sometimes they fry it correctly but if they’re busy they will pull it too early.
The main thing I see hurting this place is the communication. I can’t tell if it’s a lack of willingness to understand the customer requests, a language barrier (which is interesting considering the same people seemingly have run this place for years and should’ve picked up on the general language at least pertaining to the food), or just their demeanor that they refuse to change.
Doesn’t bother me to the point of not coming back, like I said the chicken alone here is a 5-star, but to really be a 5-star establishment they’ve got to improve the overall experience and consistency across all of the food.

Driving from West Virginia, to New Jersey. Driving on the highway, and saw a sign stating food next exit. The next sign had the names of the restaurants. I get off the exit and the place I was wanting at that time, I may have passed it. I keep driving looking for a place to turn around. I see a sign that says, Hip Hop, fish and chicken. I pull into this packed parking lot. I walk in and look right at the wall, saying what they serve, and pricing. I was eating with my eyes at that moment. I ordered three items. The amount was less then $35. I wait 10min and my number is called. They hand me two large bags. I wasn't expecting the food was amazing for this little hole the wall. It's not sit down place, strictly take out. If you're in the area, I promise you'll love it.....
They are racist ! I am a muslim man and was told to wait outside in the rain after I paid for my food ! They are Spanish rude as hell I’ll never comeback ! And he has a neclace on like he’s Christian ! They act like they wanted to fight ! But they got gold teeth in there mouth like they want to be African American !

Aight first off, the chicken and fish is good and prices aren’t bad either but the damn service and communication between the store manager and his staff makes me not want to come back here. They talk to you with a attitude like your not a paying customer. This is my last time coming to this place its not worth it especially since they dont have the best chicken i rather drive an hour for way better chicken and excellent customer service than this trash

This was one of the best Hip Hop I've ever visited. Fresh food, fast, accurate polite service. First time there but not the last.
I place my order over the phone and within 10 minutes my tray of wings was ready. Prompt serviced. The actual facility is small, but no matter because I wasn't eating in anyway

The food is really good. My favorite chicken gizzards. The only bad experiences is that when order delivery, they didn’t send it complete order and last one I called because had something missing and they promised to reimburse the money in my card and never happened. It wasn’t $1 or so it was about $6 dollars so you all have to make sure they reimburse your money back.
