The food was not as good as I expected it to be. I requested and paid for Lake trout and received Whiting. The fish tasted as if it was in freezer for a great bit of time. The banana pudding was old and there were no banana slices inside; just custard and soggy wafers. I was terribly disappointed with the order. 🙄

HipHop Fish & Chicken in Joppatowne will never receive any business from me again. I walked into the facility, said hello to the other customers, read the bright read menu board and went to the counter to order my food. I ordered my food, received my change, dropped the coins in the tip jar and said thank you. The young man taking my order who spoke English suddenly began speaking in his native language to the other 3 workers which caused them to look my way, roll their eyes and laugh. At this point, I politely asked for my money back. The employee asked me why and I told him that he should be careful what he says about people because some of us are wearing translation earbuds. He then proclaimed that what he said wasn't about me but about someone else. I again politely asked for my money back and he returned my money while still pleading his case. I also took my coins out of the tip jar. I have no idea if the food is good at this location. What I do know is that I will only spend my money where I feel welcome and that excludes HipHop Fish & Chicken in Joppatowne.

Should have listened to the reviews where it said they basically said they can't even take your order. I ordered a 6 piece tender meal, 2 pieces of catfish, and a large half n half. I got a 3 piece tender and then when I asked where the rest wad it was like how dare I? Nope this is a one and done.

Im very picky about my Fried Chicken & my Chicken Livers so let me tell you .... both were amazing. Huge portions for the money !! I was shocked how many Chicken livers in an order and how huge the chicken breast's were . I only wish I had gotten my honey mustard I asked for but still ... was very happy. Seriously , I dont get the negative reviews... (my order was doordash ) glad I ignored them I was impressed!!

I am hearing impaired and when I tried to call them to order.I could not understand what he was saying. So Hung up drove to the place and he was no better in person. He is short-tempered hard to understand his English and it's hard for him to understand mine. I love this place I've been coming here for years. But there is no service here that can help with a person who's hearing impaired like myself so disappointing and sad in this day and time.
