As always, Enrique was very welcoming & helpful with advice. The starter of sliced potatoes with light cheese sauce was tasty. The fried whole red snapper was lovely & moist. Snapper has a lot of small bones, so be prepared to separate the flesh from the bones. The Peruvian dessert Mazamorra Morada was very different with its fruit marinated in cloves & purple corn syrup. A very very tasty & interesting dinner. The service was excellent. As always all the tables were clean-as-a-pin & laid out with colorful woven tablecloths from Peru.

magnificent Peruvian food
Excellent authentic Peruvian cuisine. Family owned & run. Located in the old Baldwins restaurant adjacent to Rita's Ice Cream. The Causa de Pollo was extraordinary with a kick of lime in the chicken salad. Enough for 2. The family half chicken [white meat] filled the plate with two pieces of chicken, inches high. The herbs made the chicken taste wonderful. We took some home. Tres Leches for dessert was the best I ever had in Cuban, Spanish, or Portuguese restaurants. More than enough for 2. We were guided through all this by an expert & welcoming Enrique. He's an institution! This is a brilliant restaurant for a Peruvian atmosphere, throbbing music, & magnificent Peruvian food.

Although the grilled chicken was delicious, it was a bit dry. The dry one with very delicious beans. The tamale is big and rich. I went twice and I will continue going to continue trying the dishes that I don't usually cook.

So excited about this new neighborhood restaurant! Was the ex-Baldwins neat Rita's...Amazing food! Every single thing we've tried has been delish! C'mon Harford County - grant them their Liquor license!!! This is definitely a favorite place, wonderful staff, lovely restaurant, nice variety of many options for all tastes and diets, GREAT FOOD!!!
Highly recommend the mixed kabobs with chaufa rice and red potatoes! Everything was perfectly cooked and so flavorful. The food was delicious on its own but I really liked trying the 3 dipping sauces. Enrique is an awesome server! He’s so knowledgeable about the menu and lots of fun to talk to. I will definitely come back!

I think it’s safe to say that, FINALLY! A good Peruvian food spot opens up in the Joppa/Edgewood area. The food here is delicious and made with a lot of favor, seasoning and love. This food is pretty close to authentic Peruvian food instead of the chain restaurant food where the food is mediocre. This is a family owned restaurant. They just opened up and I have been here approximately four times already. You wouldn’t be disappointed.

We went early about 4:15 and it was empty. The waiter took time to go over some items with us. The chicken is awesome. The sides are delicious. You can tell the chef puts a lot of effort into the food!
