Recently I hiked the Maryland portion of the AT and knowing that the Guide House was waiting at the end was a big part of what got me thought the last few miles! I ate here once before as well. The mixed drinks are on point (I had an Old Fashioned and it was perfect). The food is a significant step over your typical "bar food." I had the Nashville Chicken Sandwich. It was perfectly spicy and crispy. The staff is very friendly.
Limited food selection, unfriendly staff, not sure what to say. Six people seated at two separate tables. Had two separate servers and two checks per couple. Total mess and they cared less.Keep driving.
We chose to eat here while staying right across the street. Our server was great! She was very pleasant and attentive. The food was mediocre at best. The appearance was great, but the flavor didn't live up to it. The bloody Mary grilled cheese was soggy. I wish it was grilled longer. Also, the pickles were kind of garlic over powered. The Reuben was packed with meat but it was flavorless. The BlackBerry sangria was great! It's a shame because everyone was really nice.
