These donuts were worth the drive from Calvert Co. 1st stop on birthday weekend. Coffee & donuts were outstanding. Service & atmosphere was great too. Nice gathering spot to enjoy coffee & donuts. Of course, taking some home to share!!

Came in Sunday morning to try your special banana cream doughnut. I asked the nice young lady if the cream was real banana flavor or imitation. She was not sure so I ordered 2 hoping a speciality doughnut shop would use real banana flavor. Alas you use artificial flavoring which is awful. I had to throw the 2nd doughnut away.

I require their donuts at least once every ten days to survive. Delicious, and the country music on the speakers makes me feel at home. The Rise Up Coffee they serve and sell is wonderful; and is roasted in Easton MD.

I often take my morning ride to King George for business, but on the way back to Charles County, my wife and I crave B-Donuts every time. I've been a regular at this place since it opened. The owner is nice, and the donuts are amazing. He used to explain the process of making such fantastic donuts, which includes coming in very early—around 3 a.m.—to prepare them fresh daily. I can honestly say I’m usually happy to get my freshly made donuts…until I’m not.
My wife and I ordered our usual favorites along with a few for the kids, but the donuts were stale. If anyone reading this review has ever bitten into a stale donut, you know how off-putting it can be. The half-dozen donuts we received were stale, which made me remember the owner’s commitment to making them fresh daily. It seemed like these donuts had been sitting somewhere for some time.
I brought this issue to the attention of B-Donut, and they wanted to make it right by offering us some fresh donuts, as Kelsey, the general manager, had assured me. The next day, I returned to the store after my usual run, but the young woman behind the counter was hostile, rude, annoyed, and combative. I felt her negative energy as soon as I mentioned I was there for fresh donuts because the batch from the previous day was stale. I had already spoken with Kelsey, and upon hearing this, the woman yelled that the donuts were not stale, as if my mouth was lying to me. Her aggressive demeanor felt inappropriate, especially with other customers present.
I lost my patience and became unruly because she seemed delusional, almost as if she thought she owned the place. I was shocked by this treatment, considering I was sent there by the general manager. I was on the phone with my wife at the time to choose replacement flavors, and she told me we couldn't get the cinnamon roll because the woman either didn’t want to or couldn’t include it in our replacement. To make things worse, the employee had colorful hair but was covered in hair all over her shirt.
I left without any donuts because I didn’t want to deal with her unpleasant attitude. Additionally, I don’t live in La Plata. Kelsey had emailed me saying we could choose any donuts, but ultimately, we just wanted replacements for the stale ones. I should have gone to a grocery store if I wanted bad customer service along with bad donuts.
In the end, Kelsey did make things right by replacing the donuts, but when I returned to pick them up, a guy assisted me while the woman couldn’t even look at me. So, let me ask you, small business owner—how am I supposed to return to your store if your employee behaves rudely and doesn’t offer an apology? The answer is simple: I won’t!

I spit it out as soon as I put it in my mouth... these doughnuts and cinnamon rolls r the worst I ever tasted.. turned my stomach right away.
Stopped in on a whim, because it looked like a cool little indie shop and I was in a good mood. SO GLAD I DID! This isn't Dunkin. This isn't Krispy Kreme. This is beyond *anything* they dream of.
These aren't commercial, artificially-flavored, mass-produced sugar bombs. These are *real*. The eclair had real, genuine, quality dark chocolate frosting and rich Chantilly cream. The jelly-filled had real pieces of strawberry in the filling, and was fully filled to the edges. The chocolate cream filled had real, quality whipped milk chocolate filling nearly the entire middle.
This is going to be a regular weekend pilgrimage from now on. I will send them the bill for my cardiologist, but it will be *worth it*. Go. If you appreciate quality, go. You won't be disappointed.
