Dairy Queen Grill & Chill

It used to be well kept, clean, and friendly. Today, and the last time I stopped here it was unclean, the staff was very unpleasant and looked like they were annoyed by customers. The Blizzards were hardly mixed and the fries, we just ordered, were cold. Whoever owns this place- you need to hire new staff.

I ordered a strawberry cheesecake blizzard, the lady rung in the chocolate dipped strawberry blizzard(no cheesecake at all). when I got it I politely said it shouldn’t have chocolate, but the blonde hair girl told me it had cheesecake in it so I said okay and pulled off. No cheesecake was in it. The manager was great and remade the right one. I just didn’t understand the point in lying when it was an easy fix………

Ice cream was literal liquid and the person at the window knew because he didn’t flip it over . The person on the speaker was somewhat kind but the older gentlemen that was at the window was somewhat rude and all around not the friendliest . I’m not sure if y’all’s ice cream machine is having issues or not but where I’m from Dairy Queen’s ice cream is usually the best!! But this one isn’t it …

Went in for a last minute ice cream cake although it was expensive they personalized it for me and were very helpful and friendly! As for the cake…SO WORTH IT!

Is this a Dairy Queen, yes... however this might be the shadiest one around. They tried to make us pay 40 cents for dipping sauce with chicken tenders. If you ordered on the app it includes one with an order. Who is ordering chicken tenders and wants to eat them dry? On one occasion they were skimping on ingredients by not including sprinkles in a blizzard when the pictures clearly show them with sprinkles blended in. Had to argue to make the blizzard like the dang picture.

This is not a review for the store, in general, but for the female cashier - DILLAN - who I encountered there today.
I walked up to the counter, and was greeted by a bright, smiling face, which made me feel like this was someone happy to be there, and sincerely happy to be cashiering.
Dillan was extremely friendly, and absolutely delightful!
With a personality like that, she'll go far in working with the public!

I occasionally stop by Dairy Queen, and today I decided to dine in at the LaPlata location — something I haven’t done in nearly a year, as I usually stick to the drive-thru. The cashier was very friendly and welcoming, which was a highlight of the visit. However, the cleanliness of the restaurant left a lot to be desired.

The men’s restroom was in poor condition, and the overall restaurant had an unpleasant odor. The floors were noticeably dirty, and several tables looked like they hadn’t been wiped down in a while. Additionally, the self-serve ice machine was out of ice, so I had to ask the cashier for some from the kitchen.

On a positive note, the food was hot and fresh, which is why I’m giving this location a 3 out of 5. I’d still recommend using the drive-thru — I’ve never had a bad experience there — but until the interior is cleaned and better maintained, I’d avoid dining in.

Clean and quiet atmosphere. We Got the $7 chicken strip special. Food was hot and brought out quickly. It was a nice little lunch with my daughter.

I came in with my family after church today Easter Sunday no one was in line or in the store waiting on a order no one at the register multiple employees just looked at us white employees no one said a word to us after waiting for atleast 15 min I had to ask is someone working up front finally the cook said she would get someone when they came my wife asked us there no one for the front the cashier then lied and was rude it honestly felt like they didn’t want to serve us because we were black 2025 and still this behavior I wish I could give zero stars
