Zero not an option so had to give a 1. Ordered carry out at 4:30 to pick up at 6:15. Still waiting to pick up at 7:05. This is horrible time management and poor service, so many people waiting and they seem to have no idea what’s going on. Very disappointed, it’s so disorganized, won’t be back.

This restaurant is not far from our home and our family have been patrons for over a decade. When available, the buffet is on spot with great options. Our experience has been whether delivered or in house that the food is well prepared. The restaurant is clean and the staff is prompt and respectful. If an item is missing, not correct, etc. the owners are very kind and quick to make amends.

DONT order or eat from this place at night!!! My food was barely warm. Fries were cold and the fried chicken tasted like it was under a heated lamp all day, barely warm. I’ll go to bennys next time, because EVERY TIME I’ve ordered from hunan the food was either barely warm or hot. This is my last time eating here.

Yaaasssss!! This is the place to go, hands down, in Laplata for Chinese food!! I’ve only tried their shrimp fried rice for back to back days and every other day for 2 weeks. Well worth the money but they are not too overpriced. The fried rice already comes with egg, onions and bean spouts. I add peas and carrots(but I do ask for the peas to be cooked more so they are softer and they accommodated my request). Shrimp friend rice is absolutely delicious. Shrimp is de-vine and fresh. I highly recommend this Chinese place especially for the Waldorf & White Plains area peeps. Way better than Benny’s. Now that my money isn’t affected by the govt shutdown(Thx God), I plan to order a plethora of tasty new Chinese cuisine, such as Egg Foo Young, shrimp chow mein, maybe a non-raw sushi roll vegan roll, and much more… The staff are friendly, funny and hv good memories of my orders(well I have been consistently ordering take out for 2 wks). And it’s busy, which to me shows is a good sign their food is good & consistent. Even, if I need to fix it or chg due to taste, they are not jerks about fixing my order. I will give updates of the other dishes soon.. I plan to go here for date night, girls night and family fun. Btw, the owner or staff, told me they make 200 pds of fried rice everyday starting in the morning.. Now that’s impressive..

A special shoutout to the manager/owner, who truly went above and beyond. Their kindness and attention to detail were genuinely impressive. And the food? Simply delicious. Every dish was bursting with flavor and beautifully prepared. I left feeling both full and grateful for such a great dining experience. I’ll definitely be coming back—and recommending this gem to friends and family!

Whenever I crave Chinese food, I know Hunan Star can scratch that itch so well it’s basically acupuncture for my taste buds. Their food is amazing, and they somehow manage to pack so much into those takeout boxes I’m convinced they have a minor in Tetris. You’d need a master’s degree in chopstick engineering to finish it all in one sitting. On top of that, they’re always kind, professional, and quick—like Olympic sprinters, but with egg rolls.
