I used to live around the corner from the shop and now I'm so disappointed that I don't get to experience their ice cream all the time because I've moved an hour away. They are probably the most consistently good ice cream I've had in a long time. I love their flavor combinations. My mom's favorite is their rum & raisin. Mine are the banana pudding and the red velvet cake batter while my son loves mint chocolate chip. Definitely worth the trip. I hope they remain in La Plata for years to come.

I visited today and was greeted by a young lady who took my order which started off pleasantly. I ordered a cotton candy waffle cone but the ice cream had almost no color, it looked more like vanilla with a hint of orange. When I tasted it, it was just plain vanilla, with no trace of the cotton candy flavor I expected. I’ve had this flavor multiple times before with my fiancé but this time it was completely different. I returned the cone after just two bites to confirm my suspicion, yet the server tried to charge me an additional $8 for a replacement cone. I was disappointed, expecting a replacement instead of being blamed. She insisted she didn’t make the ice cream herself but seemed uninterested in resolving the issue. Overall, terrible service and disappointing experience.

Landon's Ice's and Cream is a great spot to get homemade ice cream. There are many different varieties. We tried the red velvet and the chocolate ice cream. The servings are a great size. We enjoyed the family-friendly atmosphere and football game while we waited. Their customer service was also excellent, and they were patient with us when trying to decide what we wanted.

First, there's no prices on any of the screens, so you don't know how much any of it costs. There were only 2 people (cahser stopped after every order to help scoop ice cream) working, so it took a little longer than expected, but the ice cream was good, so it was worth the wait Lastly, there were tables to sit and eat and watch whatever was playing but no bathrooms to use.
Parking: It's behind the store in the parking lot shared by the liquor store

I started going to this place first around 2022, but I had stopped going there because the portion size had gotten ridiculously small for the price I paid, even for the large size. I went there a couple days ago in a long while and the portion size has gotten reasonable again. That’s an improvement and I think the staff has also changed, maybe that's why. so, I'll be going there again...
Our experience at this ice cream shop was quite disappointing. The service was incredibly slow, with customers waiting in line for what felt like an eternity. To make matters worse, the owner was extremely rude, showing little regard for customer satisfaction. Instead of addressing concerns politely, they responded with impatience and a dismissive attitude, leaving a sour taste that no amount of ice cream could fix. A shame a small business carries an attitude like this.
Ice cream has always been good though! Attitudes: not so much.

During my visit to the this shop, I was taken aback by the owner’s rude behavior. Instead of a warm welcome, I was met with a dismissive attitude and curt responses. When I asked about the flavors, the owner seemed annoyed and impatient, making me feel unwelcome. The overall experience was quite unpleasant, as the owner’s lack of courtesy overshadowed the enjoyment of the ice cream itself. It was disappointing to see such unprofessional behavior in what should have been a friendly and inviting environment.The poor employee up front was swarmed with orders and he hadn’t even offered to help her. Do better.

Was ripped off today. Ordered 2 kid sized ice creams and was charged 20$. Don’t know how the bill reached that high for that but it did. Won’t be returning here again. Also read the response of the owner on any low rating.
No prices listed anywhere. It’s a mystery on what they will charge you. You’ll have onto a delivery service to see that you’re getting ripped off. What a joy.
