The food is decent, the service is phenomenal because I typically ask for the same server. However, a bit of discernment goes a long way in business and I don't think Marie's has mastered that.
My first issue is that they refuse to seat people until their entire party comes in. The rest of my party is literally outside on the phone, as to not be rude and hold a conversation amongst the patrons. But I have to stand there until they get off the phone and come in.
My second issue is carding regulars and those who are 50, 60, 70 years old. I understand that you have to ensure that one is of age. However, if someone patronizes you on a regular basis and you've carded them before, this is where discernment comes in....there's no need to keep carding the same person.
Also, people of a certain age look that way for the most part. There's no need to be carding someone who clearly looks of age, has salt and pepper hair, and other physical characteristics that say that the person is well over the age of 21. Again...discernment needs to be tapped into!
These things compromise overall customer service! I'm truly thinking about not continuing to patronize Marie's and don't recommend because while the food is good, customer service is paramount. Overall quality is a must!

Came to Marie’s for the second time this week, and it will be my last. The restaurant and parking lot weren’t full so after putting my name on the list my adult son and I waited against the short walk nearest to the door.
After ten minutes of waiting, an older lady with dark shoulder length curly hair asked us to wait in our car (it’s 35 degrees out with heavy wind). I was very surprised, as there were only two other customers at the counter ordering cake. The rude staff member noticed my confusion and decided to add that there might be to-go order pick ups and that we might be in the way. She then told me to check to see where we were on the list (we were next).
I left and came to Texas Roadhouse. I’d still like to know why it was so important to have me leave the entryway that is often far more crowded than it is today.

Some of the best food, however, about 5 years ago we were there almost weekly, but then we had an issue with some other customers being rude and when I asked to speak with the manager, the young man was even more rude and accused us of not being tolerant of the young men. They had insulted people at 2 other tables before I spoke up. My husband and I have not been back since. We laugh every time we drive by while we discuss where to eat.

Stopped at Marie’s for breakfast this morning and was extremely disappointed. Ordered eggs and bacon, which is hard to screw up. Significant Other ordered SOS. Well, waitress tells us they are out of sausage gravy and it will be a slight wait. Food comes out, and they forgot my toast. Start eating and everything was cold (eggs, rubbery bacon, and home fries). Waitress was slow in coffee refills too. I have to add that almost every time we eat at this restaurant, they we are seated at the back of the restaurant (in front of the fireplace or in the last table in the newer section). Every.Single.Time. Don’t know why, and at this point IDC.
After this experience, it will be a very long time until we return to Marie’s for any meals.

This place was amazing‼️ Food made me slap my mama‼️??? Our waitress Kim was the greatest ‼️Those crabcakes was just what I needed. My uncle had the liver with gravy and onions and I swear he licked the plate??

Only had the triple scrapple sandwich, as we were not going to wait an hour plus to sit down. Ordered online, taking 40mins for the order. Tried both Saturday and Sunday. Great food - subpar facility if they can bring this amount of business, but turn folks away or leave disappointed due overwhelming customers. Good for them!

The menu has everything for every taste! The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming...especially the beautiful cakes you see when you first walk in. The coffee and tea was really good! The breakfast was fresh, good, and filling! My waitress was really nice, attentive, and professional. Never been out this way before, but I most will be back to visit this diner! Thanks for making my morning! My apologies ate to fast to take a pic!

It has been awhile since I dined in or gotten food from here. We were here for my father’s 84th birthday. The food was good but the service was not so good. I had to go ask 3 people for steak sauce. The server never came back to see if we needed anything. Then to top it off the bus girl took my father’s plate before he could finish putting his food in the box I had to tell her give him a second. We wanted to get him dessert but the server just dropped the check and kept it moving before we could ask for desert other restaurants I have dined in the server would ask “will you be having dessert” he never asked smh.
