This place doesn't look like much from the outside but I'm telling you do NOT sleep on this place. Darlene, the owner and afternoon bartender, is a sweet lady. I used to come semi regularly when I worked 5 minutes up the road but I haven't been in months since moving. When I came in today I'd barely gotten in the door when she said "Jack and Coke?" (my usual drink) and had it ready for me with a smile by the time I'd gotten to the bar. It's clean and quiet in there especially weeknights/early so it's a great place for grabbing a big table and having drinks with friends in a chill atmosphere.
But the real reason you'd be a fool to cruise past is the FOOD. I'm telling you, there ain't NO REASON a little spot like that should have food that good but holy cow. I've had multiple (cheap, quickly served) meals there that I no joke will still salivate thinking about years later. The guy they've got in that kitchen is worth his weight in gold. I woke up out of my sleep tonight to write this review because I was thinking I should take my girl there to see if she can duplicate the seasoning on the cheese curds I had this afternoon, or maybe ask him what was on the Hawaiian burger that they had on special a year ago that changed my life lmao
The OG Ollie's was good, but after closing during covid and reopening it is EVEN BETTER. Please please please give this hole in the wall a chance, you will not regret it ?
Vegetarian options: Plenty of apps/bar food with no meat, my vegetarian best friend loves the tater tot bombs and cheese curds
Parking: Open lot, about 40 spots, room for more parking along Hawthorne if needed
Found this hidden gem leaving Purse State Park. Everybody was nice and welcoming. when we are back in the area, we will return.

My husband and I stumbled onto this place while we were out and about and let me tell you what it DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!!!! We got their famous Ollie's burger I never would have thought to pair blueberries and blue cheese together but it was super delicious.... Definitely a MUST TRY!!!!!!!

Service was "mehhh." The bartender who took our order seemed to have a bit of an attitude when taking our order. The menu has no prices. Fifty bucks for a steak and cheese w fries and non- alcoholic beverages (for 2) was ridiculous. It wasn't very crowded for a Thursday evening, service and attitude shouldn't have been that bad.

The food and live entertainment best in the area!!!!! If you like live music this is the place.Absolutely the most amazing live music in the area.And the Dj on Friday nights Absolutely entertaining!!! The food ain't your typical bar food.
It was way too loud for such a small venue. Granted it was Doc Martin and the Flannels but man was it way too loud! Food was ok service was hit or miss. Bartenders were pretty good didn't have to wait a long time for drinks.

I had a private work Christmas party here for 40 people. I told Doreen my budget and what I wanted and she made it happen. We ended up with roast beef, pork chops and fried fish with mashed potatoes, mac & cheese, corn, green beans, and dinner rolls. The food was delicious. Everyone was happy and it was nice to have the whole place to ourselves. I would book it here again.
