Disappointed with my last experience at the Laplata location. I ordered a family meal online, the app displayed my order was ready for pick up. I arrived only to wait additional 15 plus minutes. The female with the gray shirt, I assume she was a manager needs to work on her customer service. She know who she is. Also charging extra for sauces is absolutely ridiculous. The price we pay for the food is enough. I started going to the Laplata location because the Waldorf one was hit or miss. I’m starting to think I should patronize else where.

As part of a routine, unannounced evaluation, I visited the establishment located at 6591 Crain Hwy, La Plata, MD. During this visit, I ordered the Butterfly Shrimp Combo and was assisted by a trainee named Nataly, alongside a manager who was actively supporting her.
Service was handled with professionalism and care, especially considering the training in progress. The food was prepared to a high standard—well-cooked and served at appropriate temperatures. I also observed that proper food safety practices were being followed, including employees consistently using gloves while handling food.
While this inspection was thorough, future unannounced visits may occur to ensure continued compliance and quality.
Encouraging progress was noted—keep up the good work, Nataly.

I had a great experience at Popeyes thanks to two truly stellar employees Gloria & Francisca!! From the moment I walked in, they were friendly, patient, and genuinely welcoming. They handled my order efficiently, answered my questions with a positive attitude, and made sure everything was correct. You can tell they take pride in their work and care about customer service. Because of them, this visit really stood out—huge shoutout to these two for making my day and representing Popeyes so well!

The chicken just doesn't taste good anymore. As if the recipe isn't being followed. Bland, inconsistent batter, on the chicken. Mac and cheese tasted like it had soap in it. Just completely disappointed with the purchase of my hard earned money expecting one thing, and getting something else that unsatisfying. I'm done with Popeyes!

Just left the Popeyes in La Plata. I ordered a 12 piece meal and specifically asked for “no thighs.” The girl waiting on me repeated it back to me and I confirmed. Got home and found no breasts but a lot of thighs. Either the girl working the counter needs better training to tell the difference between a thigh and a breast, or she did this because she just doesn’t care. Either way, for the price of a 12 piece meal, this is extremely frustrating.
