A Mexican restaurant that makes fresh tortilla. Everything seasoned and cooked just right. Flavorful drinks and delicious dessert. Service was amazing.

I’ve been to this place twice. The most recent time, was Saturday morning (3/27) before work. I ordered chorizo nachos & the hibiscus drink. I ate maybe 15% of the nachos & asked for a to go container & the check. As I was putting my food in the container I noticed a long curly hair in the middle of my nachos (my hair was straight in a ponytail and I was wearing a headband). I brought this to the waitress’ attention & she just apologized and said she understands if I don’t want the food anymore.
Yet I still had to pay for my entire meal. I didn’t have time to wait around for mgmt - but she didn’t event try to fix it.
I would’ve liked if she said “I’m so sorry about that, let me take this item off your bill”
Especially because there was a lot of food left. Nonetheless. I don’t think I’ll be back any time soon.

We got 2 steak burritos to go and they were made exactly the same. The only problem being they were 2/3 to 3/4 rice. The flavor was good, but the value decreased dramatically being mostly comprised of rice and it left my husband and I feeling like there was a brick in our stomachs after eating them. Very unpleasant. I got about six small pieces of steak in my burrito. Also, the “side salad” it comes with is just a little bit of finely shredded lettuce and tomato. The guacamole was pretty good. I’d be willing to give something else on the menu a try, but would not order burritos from here again.

Was nearby. It was beautiful out and I wanted to sit outside to enjoy my food. Google came through with this place literally a mile away from where I was. I was able to sit outside and had some delicious margaritas and the salmon tacos which where amazing! No one was outside but the view isn't the best. Don't hold it against Salsito's, it's not their fault. It's the only reason I gave them a 4 for atmosphere. Will be back to try sometime else. They have a bar and dining room seating. Give them a try if you're nearby.

Menu is nicer than other local Mexican restaurants - not pages and pages of choices, just sticks to the basics and they are prepared well. Wish there were more options without cilantro, or a note on the menu indicating that you can request no cilantro.

Awesome service and fantastic food - my husband is a true blue Mexican foodie & he loved his Diablo Shrimp, chili toreados, & recommended sauces & mojito. My chili relleno was delicious with generous amounts of cheese, egg, & temptingly seasoned ground beef & the beans and rice were awesome - everything tasted delicious & authentic & the margaritas were top notch too. Even more top notch was our excellent, attentive, and friendly hostess Helen. Discovered this restaurant by accident as could not get into the neighboring Italian restaurant (no room) and in the end grateful we couldn’t to discover this place. We’re almost 40 minutes away with several Mexican restaurants between us & Salsitas - but we will definitely be becoming regulars here!

What can I say about this place, nothing less than phenomenal!!! Let's start from the beginning, the place shows a bit of casual dining experience with some touches of Mexican influences, not too much nor too little. Seating for 2 adults and 3 kids under 10 seems a little tight for the booth which is where we were seated. It was very clean and also the ambiance was laid back with a lot of spices filling the air.
Now let's get to the appetizers, they come out with a lovely glass bottle of cold water and two glasses for the adults. The chips and salsa that came out were completely out of this world! Oh the simple taste of fresh salsa was so mesmerizing and relaxing to eat. I know it sounds a little crazy, but my word it was tasty. It was too good I asked for another small bowl of the salsa, my 4 year old daughter and I tore it up! We also ordered the white queso, that of which came out on a small cast iron pan with a small garnish on top. That was also delicious, just not as good as the salsa, don't judge me. We order the kids chicken quesadillas that came with Mexican rice, our oldest ordered the Tilapia with shrimp that came with Mexican rice. I ordered the Salsita Enchiladas, my wife ordered the Birria Quesadilla. She also ordered the Sex on the Beach and another beverage that had hibiscus and liquor in it.
Ok, let's talk about the taste of the dishes since I just told you about what was ordered. The kids food looked very appealing and they loved it, every bit of it. the oldest one's food came out smelling wonderful. The tilapia was cooked perfectly with a light brown/golden crust to it, the shrimp was grilled to a nice texture. Yo know not too hard not too soft. He loved every bite of that as well. I had a small bite of his fish and let me tell you that it was seasoned very well. The wife's meal looked like the picture and tasted even better than it looked. Her vegetables came out very fresh looking, not the kind that looks pre packaged. The quesadillas tasted astoundingly home cooked, you know that taste of machined foods vs home cooked meals? The cheese tasted of premium quality and so dod the carne asada that was inside. You can usually tell the cheese by how smooth it is, the grittier the cheese then cheaper it is, remember that. Then my meal was 3 ways of deliciousness. Each enchilada had a different meat inside. One was chicken, another steak and the last one was carnitas. The black beans that came with my meal tasted so freak and so damn flavorful, I mainly ate the refried beans because they were so damn good! The whole meal was nothing short of amazing, this is in my rotation now. Oh and the service was one the best I've had as well.
