Incredible bbq and even better service! They let us sample almost everything they had. Definitely pay them a visit on Pork Chop Fridays. We ate our sampler (chicken, chops, and ribs) with mac and cheese, collard greens, and cole slaw at one of their picnic tables. We’ll be back!

I'm sorry, but to the customer who gave 1 star and had pictures of dried Mac and cheese and said the food smelled uninviting, you certainly couldn't have bought that food from our T&J's in LaPlata. I've been going to these folks for over 20 yrs and I've never, not once, received a bad order or something that didn't smell good. Every time I'm home alone (hubby out of town for whatever reason), T&J's is, and always will be, my go-to place for food... you guys at T&J's, keep doing you because these ribs are THE BEST around!

I'm a school bus driver on a field trip and stumbled on this place. When I tell you the ribs were delicious and so tender. When I pick the bone up the meat just fell off. I live in DC but I'll come back to La plata for these ribs. I never enjoy anybodies potato salad. This one was really good. I give this place a 10 out of 10

Chicken had good flavor, and portions were satisfactory. Potato salad was passable. Greens were ok.

I've been visiting this establishment for years. I don't know what happened but the last four times I've gotten ribs they are like pork jerky. I don't recommend it anymore. I used to always recomend it but not anymore. I brought it to the attention of the manager and he apologized. The past 3 times have been the same. Will no longer patronize this business. So sorry to post this. I really loved the food that I used to buy from them. So sorry. I hope you figure out what the problem is. Before other people feel the same way. I've given you several chances and even brought it to your attention. To no satisfaction.

In my opinion this is the best BBQ in Southern Maryland! I absolutely love the grilled chicken and ribs. They have never disappointed me and the sides are delicious as well! Especially the Mac and cheese.

Recommended by a good friend, we got a chicken sandwich and two sides. Tasted like family reunion cookout.?.
First time going but it definitely won't be our last.
