For small BBQ joint from the outside. Clean and staffs are so helpful. Food was really good and big portions, they really pile the meats up on your sandwiches. Will go back again even we have to pay for the toll to cross the bridge😉

This is a serious meat eaters paradise. Friendly staff feels like family. It’s not fancy but the food is the attraction. Excellent steak, brisket and killer ribs. Great sauces and sides. Everything was fresh and the coleslaw is house-made. Go if you’re truly hungry. They even have an ice cream store inside (and for takeout).

We stopped in for lunch. Had the smoked turkey sandwich. We also had the pulled chicken wrap, chicken didn't have any smoked flavor though. They also don't offer a military discount either.

I went there today, loved loved the sides baked beans, Mc and Cheese were my favorites, Baby back ribs were amazing, there Sauces on point! Will be coming back!
Been here a couple times in the last few months. First time it was close to closing. I ordered a full slab of spare ribs, collard greens and mac n cheese. The spare ribs were tough, little to no flavor and possibly overcooked. Just seemed like they just threw a slab in smoker and left them in there all day. Greens were bitter and no flavor. Mac n cheese was okay but nothing to brag about. I just chalked it up to a loss and maybe not come later in the day but cant say this for sure that was the reason. 2nd time, I got half a slab of baby back green beans, and mac n cheese. These were much more tender in comparison. But nothing to brag about, as they were drenched in sauce and took away the meat flavor. The green beans had a good flavor and mac n cheese was about the same.
The benefit here was more of the service as the female servers are kind and courteous to their customers. So they aren't at fault for my review in any way. They keep it from having me give a lower review.
If you want good quality ribs, I would just go to Dale's in indian head, t&j's near laplata or mission bbq in waldorf and not spend nearly $40 in spare ribs here. I'll still go to try other foods, as my mom likes their chicken, so maybe ill give that a chance. But I won't waste my money on the ribs or collard greens until the cook improves on the quality and shows me how they've improved on it.

This place had me fooled. It looks like it would have amazing bbq and is always busy. But unfortunately this is not the case. The only thing I would order again is the bbq beans. Both the brisket and pulled pork were beyond dry! No season, no juice, just dry overcooked meat. I’m not sure how this place has the reviews it does. Not to mention it is very expensive for what it is.

Found this place driving home from Florida. Wasn’t expecting much. We were very pleasantly pleased with lunch. I had a salad with pulled pork, it was very good ( low carb diet ) Husband had a brisket and pulled pork sandwich, bbq beans and mac and cheese, he ate every last bite! The place isn’t fancy or upscale, but if your looking for decent bbq and friendly staff come here. There also is ice cream available.

I’m giving 2 stars because we didn’t actually get any food. We sat and waited for over 15 minutes and didn’t even get greeted and the waitress even walked past us. It wasn’t very busy either. We were visiting from out of town and wanted to try somewhere that wasn’t a chain restaurant.
