Been here a couple times in the last few months. First time it was close to closing. I ordered a full slab of spare ribs, collard greens and mac n cheese. The spare ribs were tough, little to no flavor and possibly overcooked. Just seemed like they just threw a slab in smoker and left them in there all day. Greens were bitter and no flavor. Mac n cheese was okay but nothing to brag about. I just chalked it up to a loss and maybe not come later in the day but cant say this for...
Found this place driving home from Florida. Wasn’t expecting much. We were very pleasantly pleased with lunch. I had a salad with pulled pork, it was very good ( low carb diet ) Husband had a brisket and pulled pork sandwich, bbq beans and mac and cheese, he ate every last bite! The place isn’t fancy or upscale, but if your looking for decent bbq and friendly staff come here. There also is ice cream available.
I stopped here on my was home and ordered a cheeseburger! One of the best cheeseburgers I had in a long time, great quality food with great customer service 9.5 out of 10 for the cheeseburger and fries! Would have been a 10 but they didn't put enough mustard???
