Complete disgrace of an Applebee's location; worst one I've ever been to in over 20 years. The employee at the front (who is supposed to sit people down) is simply horrible to say the least. I gave all the details of the situation to the manager (Jordan); if the administrator or owners care at all they will look into it and take action. For everyone else, you're warned!

Aug 20th I walked into Appleby’s around 6:45pm…I seated myself at the bar..after 5min the bartender says to me “I’ll be right with you”. I waited another 10min only for him to say “I’m bout to close out but another bartender is here to take over”. I waited another 5min and the other bartender arrived. She acknowledged me after I motioned to her and she says “I’m just getting here I’ll be with you”. Well I’m here now & still waiting. She’s steady cleaning glasses & making drinks. I’ve literally waited almost 30min so far and no one has taken my order … not even so much as offered a glass of water. HORRIBLE, UNPROFESSIONAL, and INCONSIDERATE to patrons. I arrived at bar at 6:45pm…it’s 7:15pm and bartender that said he was getting off just took my order…gesh

The greeter or seater he was so rude and not a position for him! I’m handicap elderly person and I parked in front of a door and came in this guy was behind me and says something upon his breath then my friend and I proceeded around. No one was at the front door as I could see as I looked up front so it was a table that we were passing would preferred to sit at, so I asked him can we sit here. His answer was yes after you come upfront and then I can seat you evidently he was the greeter that didn’t make sense to me so we sat down and he took his time cleaning other tables sweeping the floor before he even brought these silverware and menus. So that was the next strike so the waitress came after we asked was they our server, he’s response no I’m not. Then the server came. She was great and took our orders. Then when the Caesar salad came out, my friend salad had dressing on it. My salad with no dressing anywhere just the cheese, croutons, and the lettuce. The server our waitress was helping another customer’s table that was going through some issues so the same gentleman pass and I asked could I please get some dressing? because it’s none of my salad and he says I’ll tell your waitress. He passed her didn’t open his mouth. He went up front and started seating. That day was not the day that I was gonna pay his salary for being rude because of the service of the food so I left and I will never come back to that location again. I didn’t ask for a manager, cause he didn’t make any difference. I was not spending my money at an establishment that has rude elder person.That is the greeter that had an attitude which I didn’t cause to be treated like that for no reason. I visited that location off of Rt 202 in Md. restaurant on August15th around 2:30pm left around 3:15pm. I will be going to the other ones from now on where I had been going to. It’s been years since I’ve been there anyway.

Walk in to pick up order. No acknowledgement from anyone for like 5 minutes. Put a bell on the door or desk at least. One guy said what's up and walked into the kitchen. Still waiting. Guy comes out, no welcome. The bathroom area smells like sewage. They did treat the African American gentleman behind a little better so there's that. Need some hospitality training in here. Food was decent though.

Entered the restaurant and there was no hostess. A server acknowledged us stating someone would be with us shortly. After about 15 minutes of waiting, we were told that they were short severs and the bartender was overwhelmed with people and they only had one server on the floor...and was rude about it. We left since it seemed like we weren't welcome!
Why would you open a restaurant if you knowingly could not accommodate people 🤔 😐
About the worst experience I have ever encountered in a restaurant.

I wish there was 0 stars because I didn't get to eat. I drove from NE DC to eat par my 6 children request only to be seated and not served. Thank goodness for Outback that was close and service there was impeccable.
