Frozen bagels. A bagel shop that gets frozen bagels and try’s to pass them off as theirs because they “proof” them. I found the company they get them from…hard to believe that it is their recipe when the same flavors and names are identical. Not only that, I’ve seen at least 10 negative Google reviews be mysteriously removed…not one contained names, hate speech, or any other info that would violate a Google review.

I would give zero if I could. I left a review that it was ok and not really worth the hype. They had lied and said it was homemade bagels. They are premade and frozen and they crowd funded a freezer to store them. The food is microwaved.

They banned me on facebook for leaving a not recommended. They have also been harassing and threatening people with lawsuits over negative reviews.

Avoid this place like the plague.

I’ve noticed reviews disappearing from this business…hey Google how is that allowed?

So my review…the owners literally announced on their social media page that the bagels are frozen (their “recipes” but made at another place…hint look up bagel distributors and match the flavors)…how in the world do you run out of frozen bagels?!?!!

And the rudeness and arrogance you are welcomed with when you enter, I just don’t understand.

Oh well, grocery stores sell a famous Brooklyn bagel without the attitude.

Hey Google, are you going to allow them to pay to remove this review?

Updated Review:
I’ve given this place multiple chances to find its groove, but it seems they’re more interested in ‘complicating’ the experience than actually boiling a bagel. I used to check their Facebook to see if they were sold out, but I’ve since been blocked... apparently, they don’t just use AI to generate their content, they use it to filter out anyone who ‘likes’ a critique.
If they put as much effort into their dough’s chew as they do into policing their comments, we might actually have a real bagel shop here. As it stands, save your time and the line; the grocery store offers a better texture and a lot less drama. Downgrading to 1 star since they’ve made it clear they aren't interested in feedback or improvement.
......
I stopped in after seeing the line out the door. Staff was friendly and the everything seasoning tasted good, but the bagels themselves were more “round bread” than actual bagel. The dough didn’t have much chew and there wasnt much resistance when you press it, plus none of that glossy sheen you get from a proper boil.

We got three egg everything bagels and one looked nice, the other two were kinda lopsided and uneven. Flavor was fine but the texture just wasn’t there.

Not a bad experience, just not really worth the hype or the wait this time. I’ll give it another try tho to see if it was just opening week jitters because the potential is there they just gotta tighten it up a bit.

Great bagels! We have had the asiago, habanero, and jalapenjo cheddar bagels now. The bacon scallion cream cheese is also so good! We normally get a half pound of it, but they were out of it today in that size so they gave us 2 4 ounce ones - cool - no big deal to me as it rings up the same. I am not sure if someone was rushing but when I got home I noticed they are mostly air filled and only about 2 ounces in each container? I weighed them on my food scale at home. Just maybe a suggestion to do some random QA checks make sure you are filling containers to stated quantity. Won't hesitate to be back for more!

I really wanted to like this place as we need a good bagel place. Line to order was short but the wait after ordering for 3 bagels with cream cheese took 25 minutes. Maybe 6 people ahead? All were untoasted bagels and small cups of cream cheese. No need for it to take that long. The bagels were also undercooked. For the same price I get 13 bagels and a pound of cream cheese up north in NY or CT

Reason for the 1 star is there always sold out, you should really only be open till like 8am because there’s usually nothing left after that. We finally get a bagel place and then you never get to try it unless you wake up at 6 in the morning on the weekends.

My favorite bagel shop! It's cozy and inviting, and the owners as well as the entire staff are kind. The bagels are delicious + every schmear has been 10/10. The blueberry schmear in particular is incredible, and they don't cut corners on ingredients or flavor. I live an hour away and happily make the drive regularly just for these bagels.

You can feel the love and intentionality as soon as you walk into the shop. I'm so excited to see where Boone's will go! It's a special business

I have had bagels at this place about 10 times hahaha I live 2 mins away. The line is a lot sometimes but!!! It’s so worth it. If you come early on weekdays there isn’t a line. I love the Asiago the jalpeno and the everything bagel. The schmear dill pickle is so good 🤤🤤🤤🤤🤤

Overall review score based on bagel quality alone! Good bagels. Good variety, and the schmear is good.

However I waited about 30 mins for them, so that certainly takes the edge off and sours the experience a bit.
The staff are individually bagging EVERY bagel.. which is a big time sink. If they had given me the option to bag them together, I would have taken it. I get that some people don't want their everything bagels touching their cinnamon bagels.. but its a lot of bags. Maybe they could find smaller paper wrappers? Just seemed like a lot to me. That's just a nitpick.
Also their website menu is absurdly wrong. Half of what we thought we could get wasnt even on the in-store menu. Management needs to fix that immediately.
Finally, there's no queue control in store. There's always a random snake line inside the store that curls around and the customers have to explain where it starts to each other... would it be that difficult to set up a proper queue to manage the line a little better? Maybe im just naive.

Went on 12/31/25 and the bagels were probably the best I've ever had. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was very inviting and family friendly. Highly recommend this place if you are a fan of bagels

I think there's some growing pains to work out. It's not a bad place but there's some big turn offs. The line is long, there's no good way to know what's available, most of the seating is awkward (especially considering the line that runs directly through most of it), and the service time for a toasted bagel is odd. We ordered bagels with cream cheese and waited quite some time just to get bagels that didn't even have the cream cheese on them. Not very kid friendly either, no high chairs and glass tables.

The bagels were fine, but my overall feeling is that for the price and wait, the quality of the savory bagels was only better by a little vs what is available at a decent grocery store. The sweet bagels are fairly unique and are likely the bigger draw.

I'd love to come back and try again once they've found some efficiencies and worked out some kinks. But for now I don't think I'll be back and wouldn't necessarily recommend it unless the sweet bagels are what you're after (in which case, get there early!)

I have been hesitant to write a review but so many people are having the same experience I did. Two weeks after opening I was able to get a cold untoasted bread circle with cream cheese. It took 30 minutes to get my order. I figured, let’s give them time to get in the swing of things. I, and many friends, have tried multiple times to get bagels since. They are constantly sold out and wait times only to find out they are sold out are pretty silly. Friends who have managed to get bagels have reported that staff seem overwhelmed and the bagels are underwhelming. For a long time, we were promised a variety of sandwiches via Facebook engagement, that have never come to pass. Suddenly, I am seeing posts for sweets like Cinnamon Buns when their bagel production still need work. I am giving two stars because the owners do seem nice. I desperately want to be able to update this review to 5 stars. I will try them again at the end of January.
