Our server Trent was great. He has had our table before, I like how he checks on and then just lets you enjoy!

The dinner rolls are outstanding! We had salmon and crab cakes, both of which were excellent. I really appreciated the large selection of draft beer. The staff was friendly. We definitely recommend!

So, we almost left because of our waitress ignoring us. I have to say the bartender Lucy was amazing. Made us staying beyond a pleasure. Will definitely come back. If you come here look for Lucy she is above and beyond amazing.

The cajun chicken pasta was DELICIOUS!
This is my favorite restaurant in St Mary’s. The food is always excellent. The food doesn’t come out quickly, so expect it to be a longer meal. They have a great beer menu and make a really good orange crush.

Service was great, and food was very good. Even thought pricing very good! Quiet atmosphere...we went during week so not sure how weekend evenings are but found it very refreshing!

Amazing food and service. Crab cakes are amazing as was the mule high meatloaf.
We used to live in the area-left about four years ago-and we used to come to Pax Ale House when it first opened. Back then, it was a more upscale pub food and drink atmosphere.
We came through the area tonight and stopped in. First the good: beer list is nice. We both enjoyed our selections. Also, my husband had a cheeseburger, and it was tasty, with great fries on the side. Also-the waitress and management were attentive and reactive to our issues.
The not so good: the establishment has obviously changed into more of a bar with the restaurant as an afterthought. The front windows are gone. The lighting is harsher than I remember, and it just seems like they did a downgrade. The menu is much smaller and it doesn’t have the nice selections I remembered, like steak frites.
They have a pretty good pizza selection, and I was hoping for a good pub pizza with thin crust. I ordered the BBQ chicken. While it was thin crust, the pizza was inedible. The middle was so soggy a fork and knife had to be used, and it really ruined my meal. The onions were supposed to be carmelized. Nope. See the photos.
I did alert the waitress, and she did offer to bring something else. I declined. It isn’t her fault; it’s the kitchen’s fault. But other than the beer and burger, this was not good.
They did take the pizza off the check, which was decent. Thank you.
Very average tasting food. Not a great interior setting either. We sat off to the left of the hostess stand in a corner of the restaurant with no windows.
A decent stop for dinner and a drink.
Food was good. TERRIBLE service. They forgot my wife's order. They said they gave it to someone else. Waited forever to get her order, it never came. Still charged us for the side of mashed potatoes she got with it. We complained they said too bad there is nothing we can do. Do not waste your time here!
