Food was good. TERRIBLE service. They forgot my wife's order. They said they gave it to someone else. Waited forever to get her order, it never came. Still charged us for the side of mashed potatoes she got with it. We complained they said too bad there is nothing we can do. Do not waste your time here!

This place sucks, I decided to go here with my family for my mothers birthday. My mother has food allergies which were in the fries. she ordered something off the menu that had fries and asked for no fries and let them know she had an allergy. They took about 40 minutes to bring only me and my father's food. Then they brought my brothers food. they said to us that my mothers food was given to someone else then about another 30-40 minutes passed and she had still not goten food. After that they brought us her food with the fries(the ones she are allergic to) and she said that she couldnt have it and we decided to ask for the bill and they charged us for her side she had been given which comes with the meal.

Service was great. We stopped in on our way through the state . I’m from Virginia Beach but these were the best crab cakes I’ve ever had . The Cole slaw was amazing and tarter sauce was perfect

Between all of us we ordered a large variety of appetizers and entrees.

Everything was amazing, and the service was fabulous across the board.

We made a reservation for a party of seven on a Thursday for dinner on Saturday, but when we arrived, the restaurant had no record of it. The hostess was unhelpful and offered no real solutions. I had to ask if they could seat us without a reservation, and she gave us a booth that clearly didn’t fit seven people. Luckily, our waitress was fantastic! She solved the seating issue by bringing over an extra table and chairs, making it work for us.

The service from our waitress continued to be the highlight of the evening. We ordered a bottle of wine, but it took quite a while to arrive, and when it finally did, it was the wrong one. Again, our waitress stepped in and resolved the issue efficiently, bringing the correct bottle with no fuss.

We also ordered dolmades as an appetizer, which unfortunately were a disappointment. They were incredibly hot, as if they'd been microwaved, and had burst open, leaving them dry and unappetizing. Thankfully everyone enjoyed their main courses.

Overall, the service we received from our waitress was top-notch, but the experience was definitely let down by poor organization and a lackluster appetizer.

Food was good. Service was less than desired. Party of 11, which I understand is large. Asked for evenly split checks (not individually, just total divided by 11). From asking for the check, to getting the check was 90 minutes. The receipt we got was one for every food item individually divided by 10 (not 11). Then we were brought 11 checks…. Which means we paid more than the original total. After 90 minutes, it was worth paying to get out of there. Won’t go back. Besides us there was maybe 5-10 other people in the entire restaurant. Not busy enough to justify that kind of service

Went with my family last night and had a terrible experience. They tried to seat us way in the back next to the bathroom when there were many open tables because it was very slow. Service was terrible! When I say terrible I mean it was the pits! I was a server once upon a time so I give a lot of leeway, but there was no excuse. The table was dirty when we were sat and we moved ourselves to one of the MANY other available tables, also not very clean. Drinks were slow to arrive. Our appetizer came after we waited forever and my husband asked where it was. Then our dinners started to come 2 minutes later while still eating the appetizer. Dinners trickled in piecemeal and I got my soup 20 minutes later. She said "they were making it and they had other orders they were working on". It was super slow in there and it was my meal! It was the worst service. The food tasted ok but it was clouded by the horrible service. I have had Ale House meals in other states and they were good, no complaints, but this was NOT GOOD. Needless to say we will be dining elsewhere when we come down, which is frequent.

The patty melt burger was delicious! The draft beer could've been colder. Overall 4.5 out of 5 stars.
