Tacos Hernandez

Ever since moving to SoMD I have been missing authentic flavors of my hometown and those lengua tacos really hit the spot making me nostalgic. The Senora and Senorita running this place have it on lock providing great food and wonderful customer service. I would also gladly pay the price any day to support a family business. I am looking forward to my next visit already.

So delicious! I got the tacos and a tamale and everything was delicious! The tacos were heavenly, cooked to perfection. They asked what kind of sauce I wanted and I said “medium, something not too hot”. They gave me a light green sauce that was SO good!! I could eat it on everything!! The food looks simple but it taste amazing. The server talked to me about how his juices are unique and made from fresh ingredients like watermelon and hibiscus, and not too sweet not too sour They have a focus on health with their juices. After I ate he let me try the Mexican coffee that he brings in from his family and it was so so good. I’ll never not get the coffee now. He also said that they’re gonna start to have Pupusas every Saturday so I’ll definitely be back on a Saturday for those! Kind staff, great food, lively music, can’t go wrong! The ambience, is very simple; Paper napkins, and plastic forks kind of place but the food is incredible.

Went here on Saturday 9/20/25. Google said the restaurant was open until 6:30pm, but there were no cars in the parking lot and the door was locked

They are the BEST !! Tried their news drinks they got all natural watermelon and cantaloupe really REALLY good !!! Customer service and food is AMAZING!!!

Like the staff there. Servings are paltry and OVERPRICED for the portions!
Not very high quality with the meats. Beans were nearby and ounce and cold.

I placed a pickup order and everything was perfect. I got the birra tacos with a side of rice and beans. Everything was so fresh and the staff was super friendly. Will definitely be back and will recommend anyone looking for fresh, authentic food.

I just tried the best Tacos I have ever had! The owner was so sweet and talked over the menu.. asked what spice level I prefer and even let me try the melon juice for free while I waited for them to cook it. The food came out in no time! Very reasonable price. Tacos Hernandez on Great Mills road is the place❤️❤️❤️

I recently tried this taco spot, and it’s easily one of my new favorites!
