I placed a takeout order, but the restaurant was out of the cornbread and macaroni and cheese that I paid extra for. Instead, I received two substitute sides that were unappetizing and not something I’ll eat.

Just okay. Rib tips were chewy. They were smoky but needed a tad more seasoning. Smoked Chicken was flavored well but dried out.
The only side worth it were their greens. Good Pot Licka' but could tell these were left over, as they were extremely cooked down. Potato Salad too watery and not enough seasoning.
Mac & Cheese VERY peppery and congealed. Cheese seemed to be Velveeta based vs Roux or Shredded.
They were sold out of the Brisket so...get there early.
BEST Sauce: Carolina Gold!!! Spicy Sweet follows.
Service is top notch! Friendly, personable and as swift as possible.

First time, and last. Pulled pork sandwich had absolutely no taste. Greasy pork. Two sides of fries, had to trash them, bags saturated in grease, along with the fries. Threw all in trash. Very disappointed.

Ordered it for the first time through Uber Eats! The food was so good—really delicious. Honestly, I got more meat than I expected too, which was a nice surprise. The only thing is it didn’t come with the sauce, but mistakes happen. I’ll definitely keep ordering because it’s totally worth it!

We have been to Uncle D's many times and have never been disappointed. We've ate everything except the fish so far and it has all been fantastic. The owner is amazing and the staff is friendly and efficient. I really like the ribs, hot links, chicken thighs, and green beans. They have the best soundtrack in SOMD playing.
