Ordered nigiri sushi with Yellowtail and the vegetable fried rice. 2 pieces of Nigiri was $4.50. I returned to my workplace and happily took a bite of the plain-looking Nigiri to find wasabi in between the layers. I have been eating sushi for years, and at countless sushi bars; I have even eaten at a hidden sushi bar in New York city, and I have never experienced this. It was not in the menu that the Nigiri comes with wasabi, and upon calling the restaurant and speaking directly with the sushi chef myself, I was told that "every sushi bar does that" and "wasabi is the glue". This is not true. I do not eat wasabi, so I was quite displeased and worried for those with allergies or sensitivities in the future. Some people cannot consume spicy foods, and it is not explained anywhere in the menu that this is on the fish. My fried rice was also quite bland, although freshly prepared just as the fish was. I politely ended our conversation, but I won't be returning here or recommending it in the future. Again, if you're looking for plain, freshly prepared food, they have that down, but I was very disappointed with my Nigiri and fried rice. The bulgogi my coworker ordered was enjoyed, but the fries we ordered were also not very good; although the texture was nice, they tasted as though they were cooked in the same fryer as the other food, so not as clean of a flavor. All in all, it was not the flavorful experience I expected from the name, and while the new location is clean and well kept, the menu needs to be more specific so that people can make informed decisions.

The staff was very friendly and took my order quickly. She knew the items on the menu very well, she was able to tell me what was inside of whatever food I asked about. The food was hot, fresh, and came quickly. The Bulgogi Burrito was very flavorful. The meat was tender and juicy. The Gyoza was also good. Nice atmosphere, a very chill setting.

I've been craving proper Japanese food for a long time and Yummy's is as good as you can get in Patuxent River. The restaurant is incredibly clean and it's clear the staff take pride in keeping it that way. The sushi rolls are super fresh and the chicken katsu has the perfect crispy crunch. Yummy's is now going to be one of the restaurants I recommend to anyone looking for a good spot.

Wings are good. Ramen is very very reminiscent of Maruchan. Sushi rolls are skimpy on the fish. Poke bowl is ok i guess.

I really like this place. The only place I know that has chicken katsu. Love the music they play and the people are friendly.

Went to order a combination 2 meat to go here. The cashier was prompt at helping as soon as I walked in. My order came out in a timely manner. For my order I wish they give more rice, salad and a soy sauce packet for the sushi rolls that came with the combo item. The chicken katsu was bland. The bulgogi was good.

Service was poor and the workers were rude, I heard multiple comments being made about people in the lobby from the staff as well as the food seemed all to be overcooked and bland would not ever head here again just a waste of money

The food is very good, and the server who I asked a lot of questions was extremely helpful. If you enjoy spicy, the bibimbap hotpot is highly recommended but the have many non-spicy options, too.

10/10 recommend. Had the triple poke bowl, chirashi sushi, crunchy eel roll, smokey bear roll, and kimchi. Was literally amazing! Loved the food everything about it! It should be against the law for food to be this amazing ?

Always really nice and good food. Place is clean but the service is what does it. It is very hard to get good service even when you spend top dollar. All the food is reasonably priced and consistent every time. If you haven't been then you need to check this place out.

Meredith waited on me. I was placing a to-go order. Only question I asked was, "Do you have a poké bowl without rice?" She didn't make me sound weird like most people just stare at me. She offered me choices, gave me her preference, and even after I ordered, she highlighted so many sushi items that are prepared with rice and told me "I'm highlighting sushi we can make with salad instead of rice for you." She even highlighted the fiesta roll wrapped in cucumber. She was smart, thoughtful with my time, and left me feeling like she'll remember me. When I gave her my name for the order, she said "oh Nabi, that means butterfly in Korean". She is so young yet very relatable and culminated/invested in Yummy's. Because of Meredith, I'll be back. No doubt the restaurant has great food and great reviews, but even if it didn't I'd be back because of how I was treated this evening. Since Covid, it's very difficult feeling like service has become an inconvenience to employees. Meredith made me feel like I mattered and that my question was not unreasonable. Furthermore, she even asked me how I'd like the different sushi rolls separated. She knew they were for other members of my family. When I returned a few minutes later to pick up my food, she called me up and specifically noted that she separated my food to make it easier to find. During my time there, she was humble but appreciated the food and the chefs. She discussed their meticulous technique with the knife, and really showed she enjoyed being a part of Yummy's. I had such a wonderful experience. I came home and devoured my food. I got the fiesta roll and the tuna and salmon were tender and delightful. I also got the tuna and salmon poké bowls on lettuce instead of rice and oh my goodness... it tasted like Japanese ceviché. I'm obsessed and I'll be back. I wish the restaurant continued success.
Dietary restrictions: I didn't want rice, I low carb.

The food here is mostly decent. They are not great with accommodations which is annoying but I guess fair. But really, it's really an issue to get less ramen noodles or for them to be on the side? I do find that ridiculous.Today, I got the Poke bowl and hated the sauce that they mixed in. It completely ruined the meal. When I informed staff they said it was nothing to do about it. No attempt whatsoever to fix the issue. They got their money and couldn't care less. I won't be returning anytime soon, if ever.
